Extended Stay America - Ramsey - Upper Saddle River - Extended stay hotel in Ramsey - 112 NJ-17, USA

During my stay at the hotel, Maria, the receptionist, was incredibly friendly and helpful. She greeted us with a smile and made sure all our needs were taken care of right away. There was a small issue with our reservation, but Maria quickly resolved it and offered us an even better room than the original one. Her positive attitude and professionalism made our experience even better. Thanks to her, our stay was much more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel for the excellent service it offers.

Very sketchy people stay here. One was drunk or high and crashed into the building, and then clipped two cars fleeing the scene. Also have seen people using the parking lot to sleep in their cars. The general manager is more concerned with asking for a good review than providing a good service. Spent a few weeks there for work. Needed a late checkout my last day (website says late checkouts are free for extended perks members…this place ignores said ‘perk’). Instead I checked out a little after 2 and was charged $158 for the full upcoming night. Interesting bc my rate was 95 every other night of my stay. Highly recommend to stay away from here

There is a major ant problem, the elevator & hallways are never thoroughly cleaned or sanitized & always has a strong garbage like odor, and the water in my room only stays hot for a short period of time. Not to mention that since my stay here, the outdated alarms constantly go off causing the fire department to come out frequently where guests have to leave their rooms while the alarms are turned off. The front desk is lazy & are barely ever at the front desk but if you’re lucky to catch a staff member then they’re usually sitting around on the side with headphones in talking on the phone while there is a sign up that says that the “front desk will be back shortly”. They also mishandle the linen so now I just wash my towels & bedding provided from the hotel my self to ensure that it is being cleaned & handled properly. The outside grounds are not kept up either so depending on where you walk you may see old crusted dog poop. Luckily I’ll be out of here in a few weeks! For the amount of money that the guests are charged per week to stay here, the staff should be more efficient & knowledgeable.

Positive: Loved having the kitchenette and that they had pots. pans, utensils, toasters and other items at the front desk for you to use. loved the wood floors made the room much more sanitary than carpet Negative: The hallway was always filled with many different overwhelming smells of the different foods being cooked and from people smoking. They did however have a very good air system that kicked on regularly to clean the air as best it could. Negative: ""

There’s no room service… this is the first hotel I’ve been to where I had to vacuum my own room. We weren’t allowed to get any new towels or rags. The beds were dirty. We had to wash our own sheets with bleach as well. The hotel in general is EXTREMELY dirty. Especially the elevators. Worst hotel I’ve ever been in my entire life. They give you 2 pillows per bed. I asked for an extra one & apparently I couldn’t even get that…. Never again

We only stayed for one night, as we needed a hotel for a quick overnight stop. Rooms are spacious and the kitchen and free parking was a plus. The area is not bad and the hotel seems in good condition overall, unfortunately the room had a strong smell of cigarettes same as the corridors which was unpleasant

We had some work being done on our home and needed a convenient affordable option for a temporary stay until the work was completed. ESA USR provided that for us. The rooms were clean the staff was friendly and helpful from the manager all the way to house keeping. I would definitely recommend this location to family and friends.

I can't express how grateful I am for the kindness and professionalism of the Extended Stay staff! I have been here for six months due to personal circumstances and Tamid, Juan, Pete, Cynthia, Sharif, Teek, and Araceli have all gone way above and beyond to ensure I am safe and comfortable. My room is always immaculate and the staff treats my dog Icky like family. which is most important. They go above and beyond for us and I am eternally grateful. And no, I am not related to anyone who works here! I truly couldn't ask for more and would recommend this hotel to any of my friends or family members.
