The staff are very nice and accommodating especially the pretty woman with really cool highlights (Thank you so much, Ma'am! 🙏). She catered us via cash payment though a credit card was really necessary. Location-wise, this is perfect of you are looking for a peaceful neighborhood with nearby stores. Will definitely come back here for my next travel.
I stay at this specific Extended Stay America due to how quiet and serene it is. It sits directly on the Bay and I wake up at 5:30 am and listen to the seagulls and watch the rowing team row on the water before my workout. It is absolutely beautiful. Quiet. Chill.
If you are looking for an inexpensive (for the Bay area) no frills hotel, this is your place. You get what you pay for, and our car wasn't broken into. There is no added parking fee which is a huge bonus here. Many people have had their cars broken into or stolen at places near Oakland airport, but I had no concern while staying here. There was a full size fridge in the room, and plates and a toaster available. No coffee maker available in the room but free coffee in the lobby. The free breakfast advertised is just muffins, fig newtons and sometimes bagged boiled eggs. All in all, I would recommend this hotel if you're on a budget.
I was placed at this hotel for a second time due to issues with my apartment needing work done so I was placed here by my landlord who paid $5,000 plus for two rooms for my large family for over 3 weeks all the staff was great except Dora Munoz she was rude, inconsiderate, blamatory without actual proof she led on assumptions, she doesn't like children or teenagers because she was rude to them wouldn't give them a key allowed them to be locked out of our hotel room until I returned to the hotel. Sheover booked the room I was staying in so 8 of us had to occupy one room for a night. She accused us of smoking in our room which is impossible due to the smoke detectors and sprinklers system they have in place at the hotel , as well as she assumed never once did she catch anyone smoking or did she have proof we were smoking in the rooms. She also for a second time accused my minor daughter of smoking cigarettes in our hotel room and based that on the fact she didn't open the door while she was knocking so she said she must have been smoking.i called her regarding the issue and told her my kids are instructed not to open the door for anyone if I am not there. She proceeded to be extremely rude and blamatory and accused without actual proof and she decided to hang up in my face. She has harassed us out entire stay and doesn't like kids staying at her hotel . She doesn't deserve to work there nor does she deserve to be a general manager. Her own staff doesn't even like her but can't speak up in fear of loosing there jobs. I plan to file a complaint with the corporate office multiple times if I have to because I've stayed at this hotel before in 2021 and don't have any issues as I've had this time
I have visited this location MANY times. Each time is a PURE pleasure! The rooms are ALWAYS super clean (I won't except anything less) and customer service via Alo and Mr. T. are exceptional! I will continue to frequent this particular establishment at every opportunity! I love sailing so the Marina Views are HEAVEN for me! Thank you and see you soon!

Room was decent and clean. The man who checked us in wasn’t rude, but seemed irritated that we were there. Multiple of the doors to enter the hotel don’t work so we had to walk around and try to find an entrance that did work. Their breakfast was just some coffee and individually wrapped muffins. No hot breakfast. If in a pinch, it’s not a bad hotel but they have room for improvement.
Where do I start? First, this is supposed to be a non-smoking hotel. And I will be honest that I didn't smell any cigarette smoke, but the hallways wreaked of marijuana smoke. We would get back at the end of the day and cough our ways down the hall. I could have gotten quite high had I just stayed in the hall but it smelled a lot like skunk to me. And don't stay here if you like service. There isn't any. I was kind of amazed when we checked in to be told the rooms were serviced every other...week. We were only there for five nights...thank god. The people at the front desk were the most brusque desk people we have encountered. It was like they were doing you a big favor if you asked for another towel or even to look up and acknowledge you. If you like a lot of noise in the hallways, you will love this place. And the floors are thin because we were on the second floor and the people above us had two kids who liked to jump off the beds...sometimes until midnight. When we asked at the desk to be moved, we were told they would see what they could do and get back to us. The entire place just felt dirty. And I almost forgot. Worst water pressure in any of the thousands of hotels we have stayed in. Rinsing my hair after shampooing was a five minute job. And the towels reminded me of the ones they passed out in high school gym class. Sad. Don't say I didn't warn you.
Do not recommend this hotel as it is not clean. Expect to find dirty floors, dirty refrigerators, broken appliances (both the remote and iron weren't working). Pot smoke wafts through the halls, and the fire alarms go off constantly. Wifi goes in and out.||The staff are incompetent and rude, and try their hardest to make the guests' lives miserable. I extended a stay to switch to a view room, but they claimed there were none available (even though I booked and confirmed it 5 days earlier) When I wanted my room cleaned, the clerk, Angela, said they were too busy to clean it! Even though my room was on the list to be cleaned. Definitely will not return.

The drip coffee was bold and had good flavor. My wife liked her matcha latte. We also had an Ube Mochi cake which was amazing. The staff were friendly and quick. Iâll be coming back here.
Hidden gem in Alameda! Or maybe itâs not a hidden gem, and everyone knows this place. Regardless, all the dishes that we ordered were really good.
- Basil fried rice (super fragrant)
- BBQ lemongrass pork ribs (fall off the bone tender)

My partner and I stopped in here for a light dinner. We had a few cocktails and tried the charcuterie board and Margarita flatbread pizza. We really enjoyed everything we tried and had an amazing night. We will definitely be coming back here for date

Nice and cool area with the breeze from the bay air. Perfect place for large and small dogs. Pretty bustling on the weekends with so many pups playing. There's always a trashcan within and reach to drop off the dookies.
