The hotel has a good location off of I-4 and was very well priced. Plenty of free parking, easy check-in and check-out, and friendly staff. Breakfast is fairly basic and unchanged day-to-day. Coffee (no juice or milk), small muffins and granola bars, hard boiled eggs, and instant oatmeal.||The room was a bit worn but clean. The kitchen has a full-size refrigerator, microwave, small cooktop, dishwasher, and a small sink. You have to request dishes, silverware and anything else you need from the front desk as there's no inventory in the room. My room only had one chair, so it wasn't comfortable to eat there for my wife and me.||My main complaint is about room safety. I got locked in the bathroom due to a broken lock. The maintenance person was able to open the door fairly quickly. But then, in an effort to recreate what had happened, he closed the door and managed to get both of us stuck again. My wife had to use a screwdriver to get the door open. Two days later I tested the door and found that it had not been repaired. I notified the front desk when I checked out to avoid this happening to another guest.||A second problem in the room is that any slip resistance that might have been in the bathtub has long since worn out. And because there is no grab bar, that's another accident waiting to happen.
Our booking was from 12/1/23-12/9/23. We just drove down here from New Jersey for a football tournament. Upon arrival the pool is out of order. The rugs were wet and there was a bug in the room all within 2 hours of arrival. When brought to the attention of the front desk. We were offered a room change. We wanted our money back. We spent our last dollar for the kids to come here to play. We are ultimately being kicked out. The cops are 5 minutes away. And we aren’t getting our money back for 5 business days. We are now STRANDED WITH THESE KIDS!!! This is all because the general Manager Fabian (who was not on premises) requested we be removed from the property. Please advise. These people do NOT CARE ABOUT IS. We’re are stranded 1500 miles away with no money. (The workers at the desk were only concerned with the volume of my voice while explaining my frustration- the resolution was not the focus. - once the new keys got swiped in for our room change. We asked for a refund and at that time the gentleman Travis at the front desk is now rolling his eyes and complaining about claimed displaced anger when in actuality this trip was a total Fail on the Extended Stay Family. How is this company, management team and executives okay with this type of treatment towards guests. ??? The other guest I am staying with is my son’s teammate and his mother works for extended stay, which is WHY WE BOOKED THIS LOCATION. We called guest service and the guest service manager from the website phone number said Fabian requested that we leave and offered ZERO HELP … how is the company colluding to kick customers out. For being displeased with YOUR COMPANY.
Stayed for one night. The room was okay and the front desk lady was really nice. There was a funny noise, not really sure what it was, sounded like something to do with a bad AC fan blower bearing of something. Breakfast was kind of a joke, no water, juice, milk, or anything to drink at all except coffee...the little bit that they offer was pre-packaged and not worth taking. For just a few bucks more, I'd recommend staying at a nicer place.
I personally will NEVER rent from here again. If you do please report any problems with the room right when you enter do not get comfortable and overlook any problems with the room because when you check out they will blame the problem on you and keep your deposit. I stayed 3nights with my kids over Christmas and on the day of check in I noticed a funny smell right when you walk into the room. Being excited for the holidays I overlooked it I figured why bother the staff with having to move me to a different room why not just take what I got and be happy no need to give the front desk grief and be one of "those" people, we'll now I regret that whole heartedly because I called today to see when deposits get returned and I had to speak with the manager who accused me of having a pet and not paying the pet deposit fee.. absolutely not I do not have a pet I have 2 children and we did not have a pet. I borrowed a broom from house keeping upon check out to clean up after my kids and I I stripped the bedding for house keeping , I did the dishes, cleaned out the fridge, I made sure the bathroom was clean. I really regret not reporting that smell right away when I checked in I cannot believe I was called a liar and told my deposit will not be returned . I'll never rent from this location again and I caution anyone who dose to make sure their room is prestine and perfect before settling in or beware - unless an extra $100 -250 is no loss for you. I had a great time on my solo road trip to Lakeland this past weekend. Kris (assuming her name’s spelling) was amazing!!! She was very kind and sweet and she was able to get me a room (a one bedroom King Suite) quickly! I would most definitely come back and recommend the hotel to my family and friends. 🙌🏾💚
Maybe it was just the room that we were in, but this by far has been one of the worst hotels comfort wise we have ever been in. Mainly, even with the ac running all night, the room was so sticky and humid all night long that we might have we slept in a tent in the parking lot. The bed was so stiff and had no comfort whatsoever. We both woke up all throughout the night and definitely did not feel rested. The walls are super thin, you can listen to the news through the wall!!!!! And ever footstep from people down the hall echos. The customer service was the only thing that gave this 2 stars.
Second time staying here checked in at 2am guy working nights is rude as hell. They make you put $100 on a personal card even if you company is paying. Blood on the lobby bathroom walls and the toilet paper had needle cleaning marks. So someone was shooting up in the public bathroom. Beds are hard all rooms show ware. Runs in the carpet stains on the furniture and the water stinks. I won’t be coming back
I’ve stayed here from May-September 1st of 2023 and Hotel Managers are rude and very noisy and seem to target lots of certain people In the hotel and harass them, ending to many guests leaving the establishment.Not to mention the managers insulted us for staying at a hotel like it’s cheap, when it’s not, and made fun of the fact trying to flaunt her so called bought house.Maids refuse to clean rooms while your in it, all of a sudden after they’ve been doing it all of the other times. On top of that they had bed bugs, whether it be from the bed itself or they “washed”sheets and I along with my sister were being bit up severely. Highly unacceptable and don’t recommend at all.
