I’ve worked in the hospitality business for years and I understand a lot especially when there is a change in management but some things can not be overlooked. I haven’t been able to talk to management because of my work schedule but would expect for employees to inform them of the complaints they receive. | With that being said, most of the front desk staff needs retraining. There are a couple good ones. Anthony and Caspian, who are understanding and very professional, as well as the GM April. But my boyfriend and I have gotten attitude from the rest especially the weekend evening girl ( I’m not sure of her name due to the fact that most of the staff does not wear their name tags) when asking for toilet paper, towels, etc. I change my sheets once a week and waited two weeks this last time to get sheets because “they didn’t have any clean”. Anthony was great and put some aside for me once I explained this to him. Thank you, Anthony!!!! | The maintenance guy, Mark, is absolutely amazing as well and works way too hard especially on Monday after people have spent the weekend in the pool area all night drinking and making messes for him to clean up. We complained to the front desk to no avail on this one as well. | Housekeeping is great as well, Anna does a great job and works hard as well. But the hallways need attention, an oxy facial pad has been sitting on the floor for over a week now by the side door. I’m not sure if the housekeeping staff is also understaffed so I get it but front desk can help as well. | And although, I understand it’s legal for medicinal use. There are people smoking marijuana behind the building where the smell comes in from the Ptac, when I complained to the front desk about it, I get told either they can’t do anything because it’s outside or they will look into it. I don’t care if they smoke, just don’t do it where it can come into my room where there is a 7 month old baby and two toddlers. I have taken it upon myself to ask them to either step out into the parking lot or go by the wall where the road is away from the building. Most of them are cool about it but I am not an employee and should not have to do that. There was a fight a week ago between a mother and daughter in the parking lot and they went to jail but are still staying at the hotel. | The rooms are clean and comfortable although they are a little small, they are definitely cozy. The pool is nice and refreshing after a long day at working in the heat of Florida. But I feel these things need attention.
The location of this Extended Stay is excellent and its design and structure give it a lot of potential. The rooms are clean, although not well maintained. The layout of each room is comfortable and very pleasant. The air conditioning system works well. Now, if you are a "television lover" you are going to suffer a lot due to the somewhat deteriorated condition of the TV equipment. You literally have to engage in a physical struggle with the TV control to get it to work, check the TV guide and change channels. The exterior of the hotel does not look very clean or well maintained. And although this seems not to be something within the control of the hotel management, it is extremely unpleasant to arrive at a place where there are groups of individuals outside smoking and making noise. The cards that serve as keys to access the rooms or the hotel itself are not entirely reliable. During my second night at the hotel, I arrived after 11 PM, and the key card never allowed me to enter. The instructions on what we tenants can do in situations like this were never clear. Fortunately, another of the hotel guests arrived, after waiting for 30 minutes, who allowed me access to the hotel. It is a very unpleasant experience to arrive late at night and not be able to access the hotel immediately. In fact, the next night, the key card did not work to access my room. The worst of all is that the next day I wrote an email to the general manager of the hotel, complaining about the situation. I never received a response or an excuse from her. In fact, when I approached the front desk the next morning to make my complaint, the general manager didn't even apologize. On the contrary, she gave me an almost scolding-like lecture, telling me what I was supposed to have done. It is so sad that that managers have lost their ability to apologize and try to have empathy with the client. The general manager at this hotel is not professional and is very unfriendly. I would not stay in this place again.
I checked in and had been staying for not only a WEEK, must’ve been my 4th night. I have a son who has autism, a registered service dog as well as a ESA that assists. I work mornings until evenings! 6pm and The person below me would bang on the ceilings of their room which is my flooring. CONSTANTLY because we clearly were supposed to tip toe, I am not an heavy set woman and my son is 4 ! even when me and my son would be in bed, my dog would be playing with her toys chasing her ball. 4 days! And they allowed the person to harass me until I personally requested a room change to avoid issues, and The staff allowed this person to make my stay HELL, I switched rooms 2x due to being above them with a service dog that was playing and would play with my son. And because the rooms they tried to put me in were terribly damaged and disgusting! (PICTURES BELOW) Even with me requesting my own room change, they were SO DISRESPECTFUL and hurtful. I let security know of the person disturbing me and that my son is autistic this is his service animal. The staff raised her voice at me because I did not move my things out fast enough, and she got in trouble with her manager because I had a lot to move! unaware I have a WRIST FRACTURE as well!!! And in regards to my son, when I said I do not spank him, she told me that their parents would have whooped her, and did. It was so distasteful, & disrespectful to me, said unkind and very disrespectful comments regarding my stay! I DO NOT Recommend especially if you have a child much less one who requires special service. She tried to assist me last minute when it already left a nasty taste in my mouth. I still remained respectful. I do not completely blame her, I blame MANAGEMENT. Because You just do not treat guests that way!! Much less allow OTHER GUESTS to control a narrative without even ASKING or politely suggesting options.
When getting to my room I noticed there was no TV Remote, I tried to call the front desk, and found out my room phone doesn’t work either and the desk clerk has NO replacement remotes. Also the outlets were no good, tried to plug in my devices and the fall right out of the outlets… also the free complimentary breakfast Is nothing but a muffin… they shouldn’t even advertise this as some thing the offer!!!!! Edit… 1st thing in the morning I notified the desk again about not having a remote for the tv and the maintenance man said he will get one right to me.. well 3 hrs later still nothing and it’s time to check out…. Seems like this hotel doesn’t care about their guest services!!!!!!!
My room was on the 2nd floor, and let me tell you, the smell was horrible. Let me describe the smell of dog pee, cat pee, cigarette, feet, butt, everything that smells, and you get the idea. Next, the room seemed ok at first, but then I noticed stains on the chairs and walls, the tub, old not sanitized furniture bed was hard.Being in that room I felt so unclean I had 3 night stay I was not comfortable at all.Yes to confirm there were roaches in my room, so I left the light on when I slept because I didn't want anything crawling on me at night. Could you imagine 😵💫. Please don't come here to this low-end mo/hotel that needs to be a motel. I'm thinking about this place.🤢🤮🤮 gross. The hall way is stink. I don't even recommend it for a poor person living here. No person need to be in these rooms .This place is nowhere to spend the night, even half a day. Take my advice.
Front desk was very nice guy. The hotel is a mess. Dirty. Needs paint. Fleas. First room I got smelled of stale smoke and mold. Second room didn’t smell as bad, but still dirty. Couch was missing out of second room and there was nowhere to sit except beds. Someone else’s hair in the shower. Toilet seat nearly falling off. Beds were old and mattresses sinking in.
First, there is no way someone gave this place 5 stars. They had to have hired a company to boost their score. I've been to Marriott's that I haven't given 5 stars to. When you first walk into the lobby you are immediately hit with an odor of cigarettes and marijuana. It doesn't get any better in the hallways or elevators. Then I entered the "smoke free hotel" room and it also smells like smoke. I was forced to go out and buy some Fabreeze and a scented candle. I'm not actually sure if I managed to get rid of the smell or I just got used to it. The carpets in the hallways and my room were filthy. I would always wear socks or sandals in the room. There were no utensils, pots, pans or plates. You have to request them. Would not be surprised at all if you have to leave a deposit, much like the $100 "refundable" security deposit. I haven't seen it deposited back into my account yet. The refrigerator is old, rusting and dented. The outlets are very loose. I had a hard time keeping my charger and power cord in. The recliner chair is old, but serviceable. The bed, I never pulled the sheets down. I was afraid of what I might see, and I needed the room for about a month. Admittedly, it was actually comfortable along with the pillows. The shower/tub was horrible. The ceramic had completely worn away about 12" from the drain (pictured). And the drain wouldn't drain after the 2nd day. There is not a hair on my body longer than a half an inch. I asked for maintenance. I was told there is no maintenance on the weekends. So I was supposed to go Friday to Monday without a draining tub. The water was literally ankle deep. So, again I had to go out and buy some Draino. All the faucets have water restricting aerators, including the shower. It takes a while to rinse the soap off. Three weeks went by and not once did someone say - Mr. Tim, would you like your room cleaned? Nope, I had to ask. The wifi is sooooo weak. You can use a phone or a laptop, but nothing else. If you or your kids are gamers you will probably have to pay to upgrade it. one surprise, I can honestly say I did not see one bug in the hotel the entire stay. And then there was the issue the last night I was there. The entire stay, and always at night, I would hear this banging sound that sounded like a small jack hammer. I didn't want to start anything by knocking on the room below me. But the last night I had had it. I go down to the first floor and I quickly realize it's not another room, it's the hotels laundry. I was livid. I approached the front desk and insisted that they turn off the equipment. The girl refused. I made sure the two people at the front desk knew that if they didn't turn the equipment off I would find a way to enter the room and pull all the cords. When I returned to my room the banging had stopped. I fell asleep, only to be woken by the police. They actually called the cops! I had to assure them that there was no issue with me, I just want to sleep. They said OK and left. At 03:45 I was woken up by the banging again. I banged on the floor and it went silent again. The front office staff was basically useless. I called the front desk on a Saturday, because my TV went down. The girl said "here's a number to call". I said - shouldn't you be calling, why should I have to? She said "that's a maintenance issue, not a front desk issue. You will have to call or go without TV until Monday". I can't make that up y'all. My last week there the elevator went down on a Friday. Guess what I was told? You got it, that's a maintenance issue and will be addressed on Monday. Then on Monday evening the front desk told me they needed to "order a part". Luckily for me I checked out that Tuesday morning. Then to cap everything, a representative (Lisa Donovan) emailed me to asked me to put her in contact with my company's employee's travel coordinator. She didn't even bother to ask me how my day or stay were going. She obviously knew the answer and did not want to hear it for the umpteenth time. There is no way I could recommend this hotel to anyone.
I didn't even get out of the car. I canceled my reservation online. They were great with cancelation and refund. But the clientele was a heck no for me. Junkie nodding in front. No thank you.

Everything was great. The breakfast was very nice with lots of options. There were eggs in two or three different ways, many kinds of bread, pancakes, yogurt and some kind of sausages or bacon. The staff was exceptionally nice! Very polite and always
