Extended Stay America - Oakland - Emeryville - Extended stay hotel in Oakland - 3650 Mandela Pkwy, USA

I booked a room online in advance. arrive at the front desk of the hotel at about 10:10 p.m. After entering, there was a man like an addict talking to two middle-aged women at the front desk. After we went in, he took the initiative to say hello to me and told me that there were women upstairs to play. When I saw that he was not a good person and told him that I couldn't understand what he said, he began to scold me and kept pestering me. I replied to him. He said that he had a gun and would shoot us, and the receptionist called the security guard to pull him away. Originally, the room booked by the three of us was two beds. The receptionist was afraid that we would have a conflict. She told me that the person was on the third floor, arranged for us on the first floor, and told us that there was only one big bed. There was nothing we could do. It was too late. Let's make do with it. The whole night's rest was very bad. We left this unsafe place early the next day. In the hotel I have stayed in, there are no idle people in the front desk lobby except for the accommodation. I don't understand why the hotel lets that kind of people wander at the front desk. The safety is really worrying.

It's close to all sorts of businesses and shopping center right across from target and Safeway markets. Friendly staff and management is very accommodating. Jason the manager professional and friendly, deffently I recommend for a long stay if you are here for work. Kitchen is ready for you to bring your food and start cooking ask for cooking utensils in the lobby.

Was roach infested. I heard the Fremont location is very clean but our room 431 was dirty. Someone left personal lubricant in drawers and it was not a good experience. Instead of dusty this place was neglected and filthy. I got a good deal and the staff were friendly but the hotel itself should be bombed for cucarachas and a thorough cleaning should happen. There’s many rats around the neighborhood as they have attitude like they gonna rob you or something. No really, they are not afraid. My dog almost caught one the size of her. FYI

I would give this place a 0 if I could. I stayed there this weekend for one night (I'm glad it was only 1 night). There were roaches in the bathroom, the room was supposed to be non-smoking and there was a stench of cigarette smoke that penetrated the room. In good faith, I cannot recommend that anyone stay at this hotel.

I booked a room for only 1 night in this hotel with check in at 15 August and check out 16 August with BOOKING. When we went there the receptionist her name start with T , she said that if we booked with Expedia or booking or another website like that OUR RESERVATION WOULDN’T BE VALID AND SHE SAID THAT IN THAT CASE THE HOTEL WOULD BE FULL, other ways if we booked at the front desk they can you give us a room.||When we ask for explanation,she said that she didn’t give a fu** because it wasn’t her problem. Then when we asked her name she raised her middle finger and throws her badge name and said “ take my motherfu**** badge”, then she started crying . After that she get out from the front desk and she threatened us. There were a lot of people that kept her calm and the block her to attack us (?). There was a camera that recorded everything. ||I hope that with this review, the HOTEL manager can take Serious measures for that girl , because she was crazy and her behaviour was unacceptable and Inappropriate

The staff are some of the nicest people I have encountered during my travels. Everything was clean and any questions I had about the area were answered to the best of their ability. Jason at the front desk was extra helpful and I thank him for being such a good guy.

Check in process was easy, room was very specious and clean. Very accessible to everything. Would definitely stay here again,its hard to find a convenient spot that is affordable, in a convenient location, and with friendly staff. I have had extended stay experiences before, and this was the best.

Disappointing Experience: Dirty, Smelly, and Bedbug Infested I recently stayed at extended stay in the hotel and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. The first thing that struck me upon entering the room was the overpowering smell of mustiness and neglect. It was evident that the room hadn't been properly cleaned or maintained for quite some time. The linens were stained and the surfaces were visibly dirty. To make matters worse, I discovered bedbugs in the bedding, which was not only alarming but also unacceptable for any accommodation. Despite bringing these issues to the attention of the staff, there was a lack of urgency and concern in addressing the situation. It's disheartening to see such disregard for the basic standards of cleanliness and guest comfort. I strongly advise against staying in this hotel until they address these hygiene and pest control issues. As a guest, I expected a clean and comfortable environment, but unfortunately, my experience fell far short of that expectation
