I recently had the pleasure of staying at Extended Stay, and I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by Carey at the front desk, whose friendly and professional demeanor set the tone for my entire stay. Carey went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed, making me feel truly welcome. The room was spacious and comfortable, offering plenty of space to relax and unwind after a long day. I particularly appreciated the well-equipped kitchenette, which made it easy to prepare meals and snacks at my convenience. It’s a great feature for anyone staying for an extended period. Overall, my time at Extended Stay was exceptional, thanks in large part to the wonderful staff like Carey. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, accommodating place to stay.

I've been a guest in several Extended Stays as a business traveler and as far as Jacksonville locations go, my stay at Deerwood Extended Stay has been the best. The service provided by team members like Daron in guest services is excellent! He has been courteous, friendly and made sure all of my requests with regards to hotel services were met with a smile. Thank you Daron, Kim and to the rest of the team for all of your hard work!

The rooms was okay for the price! The first room I was in wasn’t cleaned and they were very nice and switched me into another room. It was okay. I went and bought my own cleaner and cleaned it anyways. The door connecting the beds to the living room was completely broke and the air unit in the living room went out halfway thru my stay. I didn’t try the stove or dishwasher but the microwave and fridge worked great! All the bathrooms have some kind of Matt in the tub which I didn’t really like because they hold bacteria, I think they need to take those out. The hallways were clean and didn’t have a smell. The staff were very nice. The pool was closed my entire stay which really sucked. I was dissatisfied in the breakfast. It’s just coffee and muffins. The deposit was sent back to my bank within a couple days so that was great. It’s an overall okay hotel for the price! I would stay here again just for the location and price. Just don’t expect anything fancy. AND I SEEN NO BUGS!

This hotel is the worst. Me and my family had drove 18hrs and I had even called ahead of time and told the we would be after midnight before we made it. I was told that wouldn't be a problem. Then when we arrived at the hotel they refused to let us in. I had booked this room months in advance. We was wore out and and ready to sleep. We thankfully found a hotel close. They even tried to take the money out of my account after refusing. So think twice before staying here.

cannot express enough how amazing the staff at Extended Stay America (Deerwood Park) is. They deserve 10 stars for their exceptional service, professionalism and attention to detail. The managers run a tight ship, ensuring that cleanliness and professionalism is maintained at all times. Miss Kay, the assistant manager, is truly outstanding. She handles a variety of tasks, from scrubbing and mopping to folding laundry and servicing check-ins, all while treating each and every customer with the utmost courtesy and professionalism. As someone who travels frequently throughout the East Coast, I always check the reviews before booking at an Extended Stay, and this one is by far the cleanest and most professional I have ever stayed in. The lobby is immaculate, with the fresh scent of a rose garden and the tile floor so clean you can see your reflection. Thank you, Extended Stay, for your exceptional cleanliness, hospitality, courtesy and professionalism. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a top-notch experience.

I got a suite but the sofa bed had no mattress in it. The outlets in the kitchen did not work so I couldn't use the coffee maker or my air fryer so only had the microwave to use.. The people who work here have been nothing but pleasant I can say that much. The pool was nice. Other than the mishaps in the room it was nice as well. Probably wouldn't stay here again though. Debated leaving after my first night.

The only positive thing to say is the area is great, the hotels itself should be shut down. Just to start we waited 20 minutes for someone to come to the desk. Apparently, they have a doorbell, but you have no idea it is there. We asked for a first-floor room, she did not have one, not a problem however she assigned us a room at the opposite end of the lobby. The room was filthy. Dirty soap still in the shower, trash in the can everything you touch had a slime coat on it, last but not least the smoke detector was hanging off the wall. Left the luggage in the room and went back downstairs where she downgraded us because they didn't have a clean room. She tells us to go back upstairs to get our luggage and she would give us the new keys on the third floor. She had demagnetized our keys. At this point we had spent 2 hours trying to check in 30 minutes just waiting for someone to show up at the desk. Asked to speak the General Manager who the gsa asked if she wanted to be placed on speaker??! When I spoke to the General Manager Kim, her statement was "It may have come loose after someone slammed the door, it's not the end of the world, she also let me know she demagnetized the keys and that is their policy. Great can we get our luggage out first. When I asked her if she was on site, she said she didn't need to come in she can do everything at home with the pad? It is quite obvious you don't come in. The floors have never seen a vacuum, we had mold in our ptac unit, and the pool was so green I thought it had a cover on it. The hallways are dark and creepy. There were drug deals in the parking lot all day long, the front door was broken, they had ptac units delivered that sat in the lobby for days. Please do not be fooled by the nice area, It is a shockingly disgusting hotel. The health department should be making a visit for the mold the roaches the fire safety. We checked out four days early

Da’Ron checked us in with excellent customer service. He smiled, cracked a few jokes, and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Very helpful and I recommend a promotion for him.
