Extended Stay America - Indianapolis - Castleton - Extended stay hotel in Indianapolis - 7940 Shadeland Ave, USA

Discussed at how disgusting this room is. I purchased bleach wipes because it looked like the room hadn’t been cleaned properly and guess what, it’s not cleaned properly. One night table looks like someone threw up near it and everything splashed. I started there with the wipes and whatever it is started to come off. Disgusting!!! The laundry room looks worse than a laundromat, I rather drive to a laundromat. The room is dirty and then the insides of the machines are dirty too. There’s stains everywhere in the room, things that could easily be cleaned. Hand prints and everything. I will be adding pictures!

Location was perfect for us but the hotel itself was not great. Room was fine, nothing special. Clean for the most part. The refrigerator was spotless which was great. Fan didn’t work in the bathroom and there was definitely soap scum at the bottom of the tub. Also, no blow dryer provided, just an fyi. Elevator sounds like it’s going to break. The grab and go breakfast was literally a joke, a few wrapped muffins, granola bars and old coffee. Received a knock on the door from a young man asking for an Uber/lift ride for his younger sister. When I said I didn’t have those he asked if I had cash app, I also said no and he left. Another man in socks asked us for a cigarette on our way out of the hotel. Our second night there the hotel staff came to our room around 10pm saying they received a noise complaint for last night and that night. We had two small children with us and explained that to him and put that information on our reservation but they put us in the top corner room. Just not the best hotel for families with children.

Ms. Markita Ms. Felicia Juan and Bishop!! Baby the have taken care of my family!!! It is nothing worse than losing your home and having mean and rude staff. That has not been my experience here!! It feels like I have gained 2 nieces and 2 nephews!! Every hotel has outages or challenges they handle every situation with compassion and empathy!!!

Positive: The staff was nice and that is the only good thing I can say about this hotel. Negative: There was no coffee pot in the room, then when I got one it didn't work. Coffee offered downstairs was limited hours and out half the time. There were no hangers, no luggage rack, the drawers were dirty. Negative: ""

Hello my name is tenacious and I just would like to say some of the workers are very mean because my friend had an butt load of ants in her room due to the staffing not cleaning the handicap room that they put her in last night well the staff asked her if she wasn't sure she brought them in but I have pictures mind you we was just at another hotel ants would not have traveled from whitestown to indi b.s. I strongly advice none to come here after seeing this thank yall let's make better choices and God bless.

Extended Stay America Castleton great place to stay clean rooms and excellent Front Desk attendant Markita was very kind, helpful and professional. Every time I stay she makes me feel welcome and feel at home.

Avoid at all costs!!!! We arrived at 3pm for check in and were told our room was not ready but would be ready in 30-45 minutes and given our keys. This was going to make us late for our plans. So we left and did what we came to town for. When we returned at 12:30 am and went to our room we found the room not cleaned. No linens on the bed cigarette ash on the floors and a disgusting bathroom. We went to the front desk to complain only to be told by very rude staff there was nothing they could do and could try to process a refund. So we were left 5 hours away from home with nowhere to stay by this hotel with no remorse from the staff.

Nice clean hotel great service and the ladies at front desk are top tier!!! 10/10 recommend
