Extended Stay America - Houston - Med. Ctr. - NRG Park - Kirby - Extended stay hotel in Houston - 1303 La Concha Ln, USA

Our first time in HOUSTON it was total of 4 of us. we had early flight and our check in time wasn’t til 3pm, I called talk to Mrs. Latonya GM to request early check in she was very polite and understanding I was able to check in without any issues. When walking into the lobby I was greeted with friendly smiles by Mrs. Latonya and another lady. We didn’t know much about the area, Mrs.Precious was Very kind, professional and helpful. She provided information about local events in the area which was literally walking distance from hotel. After attending a late night event I missed placed my room key, Mr. Khalil was kind staff with great customer service and quickly assisted with replacing my key to get into my room. Great location all local shopping centers, NRG stadium, and restaurants less than a mile away. Lobby and Parking a lot well maintained. Room itself was extremely huge, cleaned well equipped and comfortable. Thanks for making our visit to Texas great

I had stayed at this hotel in the past and was very satisfied but not this time. Although the web page said the hotel provided a "grab and go" breakfast and coffee in the lobby, I was disappointed to find out when I arrived that this was not the case. I was told that this was because of the city regulators. That might be so but the web page should reflect this. In addition, there was not even any coffee provided in the room, which had been done in the past. To top it off, even though the hotel is advertised as "Medical Center" and I received a MD Anderson rate, I was dismayed to find out that the shuttle to the medical center had been discontinued. All in all, not a good experience.

I mean it's not that bad is just you guys need to at least remodel it. It's a very dangerous place to set your hotel location near an NRG stadium. Also pls get rid of the stove, old microwave (broken just left there to die),and the refrigerator it's getting so old that it stinks and I try to clean it including unwanted food. The out side place is great but at night just don't come across weird people ; but you got love the metro and the near stores. That's just one reason it got a stare but other than that it's terrible. The service was good cuz there all was at least a person to hand u a broom. People that come by are not terrible there the only thing keeping this place running, and they also have issues of there own. Don't believe me come by and see for your self. I have to book an appointment to clean my room and they never came. That my be my fault but the next time I tried it they never came so I don't know what the point; meaby I will try again. This place is great honestly it's not bad just fix some of the issues that are listed. I can keep up writing but y'all but just trying to point so things. Just trying to give people so heads up when u come by.

Dirty, unkempt property, staff was rude. Loud guests and had a ghetto feel to it. Broken tv, Broken dresser and the bathroom was filthy. Trap house from the movies....place was so bad I left after only 10 mins of being in the room. I had no other place to go but my car was a better option than here.

This place has very very poor customer service. If you share concerns with a manager, the ENTIRE staff finds out and ALL of them tries to use retaliation tactics which are so noticeable and are often followed by sarcastic comments. This place is in desperate need of diversity. They all seem angry about having to work there. Unprofessional is a understatement. Update!!! I've been here 2 months now. My packages are being tampered with by the hotel staff. Which is a federal crime and a invasión of my privacy. I tried speaking with them about it now they want to use discriminatory practies!! These people are very silly!

Check in was good Gentleman extremely nice and helpful . Even though he was busy he was still friendly. But as we settled into the room we be welcomed by thier msscotssss( roaches) we talked the same check in hostess, again super friendly and willing to help. But we were there for medical appointments and could not stay in such a filthy place. Not to exaggerate but my grandmother outhouse was cleaner. Please read reviews. Hopefully owners will and do some fumigation

Convenient Location but dangerous. Near NRG and violent crack heads. Room outdated and smelly, locks on room didn’t work and roaches. No room service not even after two weeks of stay. Front desk staff were okay. Taller lady with the short hair and males on staff were kind and professional. Overall overpriced.

This hotel is not well kept. It's dirty and has a musty smell in the rooms. The towels in the bathroom were dirty (one was grey, the other has yellow spots). The kitchenet is very outdated. We will never return to this hotel and recommend you find a better place to stay.
