Corporate Travelers Beware: Extended Stay Uptown As a recent guest at the Extended Stay Uptown, I feel compelled to share my experience to warn others. Despite its promising address, this hotel fails to meet the basic standards expected by corporate travelers or long-term visitors. Here are some key issues I encountered: Rodent Issues: I personally experienced rodent sightings during my stay, which was extremely unsettling and unacceptable from a cleanliness and hygiene perspective. Unprofessional Environment: The staff (management included) displayed unprofessional behavior and were unresponsive to my concerns, which added to the overall discomfort of my stay. Inappropriate Behavior: There were numerous instances of inappropriate and unruly behavior within the hotel, making it an uncomfortable environment for anyone, especially those on business trips. Furthermore, my employer informed me that this is not the first time they've received complaints about this property. They have had to move me and other colleagues to different accommodations due to these persistent issues. If you value a professional and comfortable stay, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This establishment does not meet the standards expected for corporate travelers. Read the reviews. Value your employees and invest in better accommodations.
Had emergency and had to get a room there last min at midnight. Price is cheap so can’t expect much. But the room is just not clean at all, also the clientele there doesn’t make me feel safe.
This place is filthy, the rooms are infested with cockroaches. Housekeeping never showed up to clean the room or replaced the linens. I saw the reviews before staying here but I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt. Guys do not stay here you will regret it! The customer service is poor, the front desk always had an attitude when I called to make a complaint. I remember one night it got cold, I called to let them know the heater does not work and her response was that no maintenance is available. The issue was not escalated and she did not care to resolve the issue or follow up. I paid for an overpriced room and had to stayed in a cold and infested room. Worst experience ever and I will never stay here again!

It looks old ages This hotel needs a serious deep clean! The dirt and dust everywhere made me wonder when the last time they cleaned was. For a hotel, cleanliness is paramount. Sadly, this place failed to deliver. The dirt and filth were overwhelming.
Lovely little place, very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly thank you to the lovely ladies at the front desk Stacey and Aisha you both made us feel so welcome .There are a lot of stores near by and everything you need. I will most definitely come back . Great value for the money.
Talk about customer service!!! They were super welcoming to my four-legged baby, and their happy hour included free food and drinks 🍸. Ohhh, and I could not leave out the bedding and pillows. They were amazing!
Positive: The a/c worked - stayed there because our electicity was out for a night Negative: No ice machine in the hotel! I have never seen a place with no ice - there is a kitchen but no cups, glasses or anything to serve food or drink with - this is not a typical GAlleria area hotel! I made a reservation in this hotel because it is in the FEMA list of approved hotels. I called to their customer service number and after checking other locations, the extended stay in Galería was available for next day check-in. The customer service rep even called to ensure the rooms were available. We drove 3.5 hours from our disaster area to the hotel only the be greed by a lady at the front desk doing her nails. I had to wait for the glue to dry while I explained that I had a reservation paid by FEMA. The lady did not even check my reservation and said that the reservation was canceled because the manager was not available that day. I never received a cancelation email from the hotel. Their customer service is worthless, they put me on hold just to call the front desk, serve by the same lady doing her nails… if this person had a sense of urgency she could have check us in and had the manager override the decision next day but I guess her common sense is as long as her nails length... I have a premie 2 week old baby and 2 toddlers in the car and had to drive around to find another hotel… I do not recommend this place, not to mention the condition of the place, it smells, the carpet is 1000 years old, stain and nasty, dusk all over and the windows looked like they have never ever been wipe clean. If it wasn’t because I was approved by fema for a month stay, I would have never though of looking at this place.
