Extended Stay America - Fort Lauderdale - Tamarac - Extended stay hotel in Tamarac - 3873 W Commercial Blvd, USA

Our experience at this hotel has been amazing thanks to the wonderful staff especially Shaneika at the front desk! She is very knowledgeable, accommodating, concise and exudes professionalism and great customer service skills (which is extremely rare these days, sadly). The rooms and common area at this location are clean and for the most part a quiet place.!

For the price the room was good and everything was in working order. They have on site security so if you are concerned about the location or anything I see mentioned in some of the other reviews, there is usually some security always on the property. The only complaint I would say I had was that staff came knocking at 9 am to check if we were going to book another night and woke us up when check out isnt until 11. Besides this minor thing, I would say this is one of the best rooms Ive stayed in around the area for the price. Also, I want to mention that Romeo was especially helpful and went above & beyond to make sure we had no issues with our stay.

Katrice at the front desk is amazing. She made sure to make me feel right at home with her amazing customer service. The way she was I never would’ve thought she was new. Great job with picking her to be your front desk associate.

Stay away! This hotel is dirty and outdated. The floor was so dirty that the second you step out of the shower the towel you step on turns black instantly. The rooms door had to be slammed shut to ensure it was closed which was scary because I had a random man knock and try to open my door at midnight after there was a loud fight outside in the parking lot. The TV didn’t work at all it was stuck on the information slide and begging for a review so here it is. The bathroom was dirty looking like it was stained with a few blood drops but also like a kid had played with a highlighter highlighting the bathroom and I don’t know if it was a pimple sticker or normal sticker but the bathroom counter had that too. The staircase was covered with garbage and no one from the hotel came out to clean it so it stunk the stairway up. If you’re looking for a cheap place to stay and don’t mind staying in a dump go ahead and book if you’d prefer to stay somewhere that the room is actually cleaned go elsewhere. Worst experience with this brand and most likely won’t be booking again.

Service We reserved a room with double beds. It was confirmed via phone as the agent said she called the location and it ws available. Service very poor as there was no agent to check us in. We had to wait about 10 minutes. We saw a sign saying we will return shortly and we should use a phone outside. When we tried the phone it was not working! I told the agent upon her return that the phone doesnt work. She was not concerned. :\ The agent checked us in and when we went to the room we only saw 1 bed. She never told us we would be booked in a room with 1 bed. We observed build of dirt in the bath tub and hairs from previous occupiers in the bathroom. The towels supplied had dirt marks in them. How can you present dirty towels to guest! Joke! They had no luggage carrier! Fridge and stovetop worked well The TV turned off every 5 minutes. Did not enjoy my stay at all. After the promises of the room we booked never materialised we checked out. no apology until I asked the manager. Not a good manager if you asked me as she is not setting an example. The staircases have years of spider webs and stuff caught in them. Would not set my pet to stay there

Booked this last minute because of the location and because of the breakfast option. So disappointed with my stay. It felt sketchy from the time we arrived. Place had a "hot sheet motel" feel. The person at the desk was not welcoming at all. The room felt like we weren't going to be alive in the morning. The kitchenette was old and rusty. The bathroom linens didn't look clean. In the morning, we attempted to find the breakfast area and the office was locked and no one was around. I would not stay here again and do not recommend it!

I had a great stay, my room was nice and clean as I expected! And the girl at the desk I think nini is amazing, very helpful and polite. 10/10 definitely recommend!

My room was confortable, clean and I received new kitchen silver and pans. Location is fantastic for shopping and beaches. The manager and front desk always helped in my solicitations.
