Extended Stay America - Clearwater - Extended stay hotel in Clearwater - 15672 US Hwy 19 N, USA

DO NOT STAY HERE! Traveled down to the gulf coast from Jacksonville yesterday and booked this hotel semi last minute. Hubby's choice and he clearly did not look into the Google reviews. I'm only posting to potentially help others. This hotel has cockroaches (German). No, not palmetto bugs, which these are noticeably everywhere outside too, but this is Florida, and they are in fact everywhere. My photo is awful and it wouldn’t let me upload the video (see Yelp review). I cannot deal with bugs, especially roaches. Upon walking into to the hotel, it reeked of must/mold. Just know a respiratory infection is bound to happen if you stay here between that and the roaches. Our room reeked like Fabuloso to cover up the roach stench and it was so strong, it had my eyes watering. Thank you to Raquel for helping us at the front desk. She was really understanding and worked to resolve this for us to get a refund. This review is solely based on walking into our room and seeing roaches in the bathtub. We did not explore any other part of the hotel aside from the outside areas to bring in our belongings. Thankfully we were able to cancel our booking last minute due to this and left right away. I can only imagine the other things possibly in the beds here.

My stay was horrible. The shower was not usable. When reported to the front desk nothing was resolved. So I spent three days that I had already paid for in a hotel that I could not shower in. I was there on vacation so of course I had sand and sweat all over me yet I could not wash it off. And the front desk refused to resolve the issue. I went to unload my car the morning after my arrival front desk clerk watched me walk out the door watched me gather my belongings and with my hands full he refused to close the door open made me sit my belongings down to use my own card. The air conditioning unit leaked all over the floor getting my clothing soaking wet. They had some stupid sensor to wear any movement in the room triggered a bright floodlight over my bed waking up my entire family on vacation so our sleep was not even satisfactory. When I asked the front desk clerk about the missing television remote she insinuated that there was one there and I was lying and then proceeded to give me a broken remote and said here use this. I would rather sleep in my vehicle on my next vacation I would strongly recommend staying away from this location and finding a different hotel if you visit this area. Had gas or other people walking around intoxicated in the parking lots lots of police presents during my stay so I was very unsatisfied and will never return here if I was able to reverse my bank charges I would do so but I can't so I'm out the money out of shower out of television out of sleep and very dissatisfied

When I arrived the place looked nice. That evening the person in room connected to mine was playing music extremely loud, and talking loud past 12pm. At 3 am I was awoken by fighting and arguing until 6 am. My wife went to get breakfast and they only had a few muffins and grits. That evening the person next door was talking loud again and playing loud music. He was removed and we were satisfied that the problem was rectified. We were then awoken by a woman screaming and yelling at 6 am. The third night it was finally quiet, yet when my wife went to breakfast they had not replenished breakfast products it was disappointing the lack of stock. Our final evening there were no problems or issues.

Staying at this hotel was an absolute pleasure. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making check-in a breeze. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, offering a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The amenities were top-notch, from the comfortable bedding to the well-equipped gym. Additionally, the location was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions and dining options. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic stay!

15672 US Highway 19 North, Clearwater, Florida 33764, United States I'll give 0 if I. Could. I booked this place for work. I told the person that booked it, I need the upstairs room, she said she will make a note. I work 4 nights, 12 hours per night for 90 days. Yes I received a discount. The day I booked the discount they had a special 47 dollars per night. So it was not even a discount, because she told me, si ce there is a special, she could not pro ide any wxtra discount even for healthcare worker. But boy oh boy, As soon as I got there, trouble started. The receptionist was blunt and not professional. When I arrived inside the room, I found hair, tobacco leaves, the towels were nasty full of hair, as if they never replaced the towels from the last customer. On top of it, there was a leak coming from the upstairs room. My first day first day, my husband and I clean the place, removed all the tobacco leaves and hair, dirt, thr door was shading foam stuff. I mopped, cleaned and let the know about the leak. The maintenance guy was super nice, I let it go. I then went to work. The next few days, I could not sleep. Constant noise, foot steps, suff dragging. I told them I did request for upstairs room, the very day. They kept giving me excuses. The 2 ladies including Kim with another black lady, very loud and unprofessional. They told me they have it but refused to do so. I'm asthmatic. The room is wet, hot and the mold is strong. I think if I then change rooms, it might be better. So I call and told them I needed the room upstairs, she agreed to give me the room later she wants to charge an e tra 22 dollars. I told the night receptionist. I'm tired, I don't want to stay, then she wants to charge me more stating she will remove all the discount I received from them. I was like no, I cancel reservation all the time and there is no such thing. I'm tired. The place us awful and they don't get it. I have to go into that room every day after work. And I'm tired. Please help, I don't want to speak to Kim. Kim is not nice. They have no customer service at all and the place is terrible. All I wanted to do was to leave, since it was after 11am, I did not mind paying for the day, eventhough I'm not staying. I asked her to charge me regular pay. She refused and Left my booking open. I have a video recording discussing this with her. I actually did not get a medical discount, the price on Saturday the 15th was 47 as a special they had on line. So they could not offer dou le discount. I begged her to please let me pay, so i could move on. she wanted me to pay 275 dollars for checking out too soon like I signed a least with them. So she told me I must pay... I just need to go to another extended stay. That one is not going to work for me. That lady made me feel bad for everything. I know it was that Kim the manager that made her do all of this. She refused to let me pay for the 1 day although I'm not staying over. Preferred solution: Price reduction User's recommendation: No way. Never stay away from that one. Only this one so far. Don't go!!

Horrible experience. Drunk guest falling over in the parking lot with walkers. Guests that scream at people if they talk in the hallway or if their dog bark. Scary place. Carpet in hallway is filthy. Night staff is not friendly except for Linda. Linda tried so hard to make the stay better.

Place was loud, dirty, and I didn’t feel safe. We arrived around 6/7pm and walked into the lobby, it smelled moldy. Went up to our rooms and the one room smelled like a musty, moldy basement. (Front desk lady did give us a different room) The hallway had stains all over the carpet. The bathroom had some type of orange goo on the ceiling… there were people yelling, arguing and dogs were fighting until about 1am. Would rather have slept in my car.

Excellent service! The hotel was nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and professional. My room was cleaned everyday during my stay. I do not have a compliant about my stay. I would highly recommend this place to stay. I will definitely return and stay again. Thank you!
