Extended Stay America - Clearwater - Carillon Park - Extended stay hotel in Clearwater - 2311 Ulmerton Rd, USA

This is one very nasty hotel! I got this hotel to save money on my trip because it boasted a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen was absolutely disgusting! The sinks were filthy, ants on the counters and there was rust on the stove and refrigerator, the oven was greasy and dirty with filthy dirty rusted pans underneath. The oven was broken and only a small microwave was in the counter. The windows had broken vertical blinds with no curtains to keep the light out! There was a full length mirror unmounted and propped up against the wall! There were high stains all over the carpet. Only 1 lights worked in the room and only the ceiling fan light In The bedroom. The elevator was broken the entire time we stayed there! I would AVOID this hotel at ALL costs. It was a waste of money and highly misrepresented! There were stains on the walls and peeling paint. There was mold in the bathroom that grout and the porcelain was worn off the tub. It was horrendous and should be shut down for the elevator alone. The only good thing about it were the clean linens and friendly staff. I wish there was a way to get my money back. I stayed at the Econolodge in Clearwater 3 months ago and it was $100 less and MUCH nicer! I got a 2 room suite in order to see clients but was too embarrassed to have anyone see the room, so I lost business because of it. Worst hotel experience in over 29 years!!! 👎👎

Not worth the discounted rate! We booked our room based on the recommendation by the National Aviation Academy. We were attending a graduation there. The king "suite" with a pull out couch was perfect for what we needed. Upon pulling through the parking lot, we felt like we were in the middle of low income housing. Little did we know that our room as going to be just as bad. The moment we walked in, the smell of musk slapped us in the face. My husband immediately sprayed the room down with an odor eliminator. The pet stains on the low pile carpet were all over. The kitchen is extremely outdated and for a king room, the room was extremely small. I wanted to walk right back out but my husband convinced me that we could tough it out for 2 nights. When we came back from dinner that night and were going to get ready for bed, we discovered that there were no linens for the pullout could. When we booked we stated 3 adults. Luckily we were able to reach someone that happened to be in the office after hours. Our bed was horrible. I have never slept in a hotel bed that was as uncomfortable as this one. I felt like princess and the pea! The pool closes early which upset our son. As hot as it was, he wanted to cool off in the pool. Do your research before booking a hotel room. Read all the reviews.

Avoid this place at costs. It is definitely not safe. The doors to all the rooms are outside. It took two days before the handyman could fix the bent lock inside my room. All the paint was peeling off the front door. It was near the stairs, so people talked loudly on their phones, smoked weed and cigarettes, right by my door. The office closes at 7:00 pm, so you cannot get any help after that. The microwave was totally rusty, so I could not use it. There baby roaches coming out of the air conditioning unit. I asked every day to move to another room. You have to give the reason and you are told that moving to another room, is at the manager’s discretion. Since I only stayed one week (instead of two months) they billed me extra, since they said I got a discounted rate for a longer period of time. Instead of grass around the place, it is just dirt, filled with cigarette butts that are never cleaned up. I have lots of pictures. I moved to a much nicer extended stay in Tampa.

Synder is absolutely amazing she helped me with some question and the management and staff have been so nice since I've been staying here. They always have the coffee ready and to go breakfast. I was about to be homeless and they blessed me with a clean, roach, bug free, room that I love I don't plan on leaving any time soon. I will post all the employees names once I get them . The whole team has gone above and. Beyond to help me with anything. I have a kitchen that has everything I need and they keep it CLEAN 💋💋💋💋💋😂🙏

Excellent service! The staff was very friendly and professional. My room was Clean. I do not have a compliant about my stay. I would highly recommend this place to stay. I will definitely return and stay again. Thank you!

I had some business to attend to in Florida and it just so happened to be in Pinellas County. I’ve heard the stories about Florida and Pinellas in general so I was a little skeptical about booking a week at extended stay America the one in Clearwater just off the interstate but the booking was very easy and simple so I’m thinking so far so good. My stay was waaaaayyyyyyy better than I could have imagined. My room was nice and cozy where I can control the temperature to my liking 🥶and any time I needed towels or anything I just went down to the office and the lady there I think her name was Cindy she was so sweet and polite and helpful with all the questions I had. Great customer service. I would definitely come back to extended stay the carillon park one. Great location

The service my husband and I have received at Extended Stay America is 5 stars without a doubt. The staff here is always attentive and receptive of what we are needing. They always have fresh linens and the basic necessities of long term stays and are willing to do more to make your stay more comfortableand convenient. It's very refreshing staying here knowing the staff enjoys their job and is always welcoming with a big smile. We had a small problem with our AC unit and the maintenance man came quickly and immediately resolved the issue ensuring that my two kiddos stayed nice and cool in this florida summer heat. And most of all, Miss Rita at the front desk is AMAZING. She is so nice to talk to and is so caring for the residents staying. My 2 year old loves to stop by the office and visit her, she always knows how to make him laugh and smile. She has made staying here through a hard time more bearable. Thankyou Rita for your hard work, and thankyou to the whole team for making us feel at home. We appreciate all you ladies do for this property to make it livable and more affordable for small families like mine.

Rita Jamie and Octavia are so nice! They are kind and helpful when you need things. The site is very clean and so is the pool. Breakfast is always amazing and the coffee is so good. Everyone here is nice. I have been living here for two months and don't plan on going anywhere. With the cost of living it's cheeper to live here. No power bill, no water bill, no wifi bill an apartment would cost. I really like it here and I am so grateful that was I was able to find a place to go last minute after an eviction from foreclosure. Stevie
