Express Inn - Hotel in Weslaco - 3021 E Expressway 83, USA

We have stayed here twice for the whole week our room was very nice and clean. We always have clean towels.also the owner was very friendly he let us use his personal grill to cook. the price for the room was great. I definitely recommend thank you!!!

Good afternoon everyone , so today out of all days that I make a reservation for this hotel is the WORST. I was getting ready to leave & I left the keys at the lobby to check out. When I was about to take off with my family & 12 month old baby. An elder guy w/a mean face all day stops our car. He starts talking in diff language ( Indian accent) . He makes me get off my car & brings me inside just to confront and accuse me of “ stealing towels “ . I booked 3 rooms on 6/1/24 & I ALWAYS make sure I leave all the towels in the room where they belong even if they were used at the pool. He brings me up to the lady janitor & she had to translate. She translate” he says there’s no towels up there — meaning the rooms . “ I advised her we only took 3 towels to the pool & gave it back to him before checking out because he had locked the pool after my little brothers & sisters came out when we still had 1/2 hrs before it was 11 to check out. Anyways I had found one towel besides the pool & when I went to give it back besides the 4 that I gave him this other man , which was nice said “ it’s okay don’t worry about towels “ . I adv but that guy is upset about the towels what do I do. I ended up leaving it on the bench outside of the hotel . NEVER again coming back .. how can someone be so cruel & accuse people of “ stealing “ . ?!!!! This place needs to be shut down & because of people like him is the reason why this world never gets better 😡😡😡😡😡

Stay far away from this filth. Bed bugs, hot tube got us sick. Customer service is by far the worst I've seen. The room looked like it was maintenance and cleaned by a child( dirty ) . This place needs new management and remodeling. The place makes you feel your in some 3rd world dirty country. Absolutely disgusting

Staff super friendly, they have a pool. Wifi works great, peaceful no one bothers you. Good breakfast waffles, cereal fruit muffins honey buns, orange juice milk and coffee. Great price, was able to park our bobtail inside parking and if you have your full truck you can park behind the building a small street hardly any traffic. Also washer and dryer. No elevator but it’s only two stories, stairs are wide and easy to climb. Rooms have mini fridge and microwave. Everywhere is super clean. Vending machine only takes change no card.

It was calm and peaceful. The rooms were clean aside from the marks on the walls caused by the humidity. The staff was friendly. Their showers have really awesome hot water— the only negative is they didn’t have a mat. Really accessible to other locations and you can even get things delivered. I also loved that it included an ironing board, microwave, coffee maker, mini fridge, and blow dryer. Definitely worth it and very economic.

Absolutely terrible, the service was awful, the man in the front was very rude and talked down on us. He asked for everyone’s ID’s and even asked for birth certificates from the minors. He accused us of lying when booking the room saying that we had too many people in a room when we put the specific amount of people on the website, and he even came into the room making everyone feel very uncomfortable. After the little altercation he threatened to call the cops on us if we made any little sound he heard or complain he received from other guests although we had done nothing wrong. Their website isn’t 100% true at all. I would give this place 0 stars if I could !

This hotel is very accommodating we had issues with our reservation at the La Quinta Inn when we arrived in Mercedes on September 14th after a long 5hr drive from San Antonio Tx so we called Express Inn to get a last minute reservation for 3 nights as we were competing in the menudo cookoff there in Mercedes Tx September 15th & 16th 2023 Rick ( hotel manager) was very nice and said he had a room for us and gave us a great rate as well the hotel smells very clean and is very well kept the room was very clean bed was comfortable and the ac worked great even our fur baby was approved next time we visit the valley we will definitely be staying here again thank you to Rick and his staff fir making our stay comfortable!

Absolutely disgusting. The hallways smell of old medicine. Cockroaches and spiders all over the place. The walls are stained, the majority looked like boogers. The carpet reeks of dirty feet. It was obvious the towels were recycled, not washed. The bedding was dirty. Called the front desk was instantly greeted with " why do need?" Instead of "front desk" or what ever other courteous line they could have used. I do not reccomend this place. Absolute filth.
