Kushma, Rocky & their family are incredibly kind & considerate towards their guests. An example of this is that when we had a problem with someone smoking in a nearby room, they took care of the problem as soon as possible. The location is great, next to the best grocery store in town, close to downtown and Morehouse park. Just wanted to also mention that most of the negative reviews here are real old from before this family took over & made so many improvements, which they continue to make even now. We stay 3 weeks.

Nice room, great price and location. The only suggestion I have is that the floor needs a good mopping.

This is an independent family owned motel which pleasantly surprised me. I stayed in a room with two queen beds. My main goal was to have a clean, quiet, safe and comfortable place to sleep and relax between curling matches--I was in town for a tournament. This meant I was in and out of the room at unpredictable times.||The Inn was quiet, my room was clean and secure, and the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The room was quite spacious, the bathroom recently remodeled. The shower was excellent although the tub was a little slow to drain. The room lighting was pretty dim, reading a physical book in bed could be challenging.||The Inn advertises a continental breakfast, but I recommend avoiding it. The food is cold cereal, coffee, juice and plastic wrapped pastries. The food is served in a room the size of a walk-in closet with no tables. Fortunately, there is a fine and relatively inexpensive family style restaurant immediately adjacent to the motel.|| My sense is that the family owning the motel takes pride in their property. While definitely not a destination motel, for my modest requirements the Executive Inn suited me just fine. I will stay there again the next time I visit Owatonna.

I called a day ahead and Rocky was nice enough to hold a room for me even though I didn't have my card on me. The staff here seem very friendly and my room was clean and well stocked. I can tell they recently updated my room and the paint is fresh. Fridge and microwave work well enough. Bathroom was clean and the shower works well. Adjusting the heat is tricky because the knob was not connected and isn't well marked. Overall, I am very happy with my stay and the price.

We had to turn on the roku to even turn on the tv. The toilet was way too loud when flushing. The steps to get to the room were very steep for older people. Negative: ""

Not a bad place to stay at all. AC works well once you understand how it works - survived well on one of the hottest days this year. Room was clean enough, and seems like it was freshly repainted. One star off for the outlets built into the lamps - they don't appear to carry around, so plugging laptops into them is a bad idea. Use the wall outlets. There was also a bit of an issue where my room access was revoked, due to the maid hearing a dog. While I get why this is in place, I had notified in advance that there would be a service animal present. This was a bit frustrating having to explain what a service animal is to staff twice. No issues after that. Was also billed on the first night even though I had a reservation paid in advance. Got that cleared up every quickly. For the record, we had a King room. Definitely somewhere I'll return to for the price. A good recommendation for someone visiting to town who is budget conscious.

We love stay agin here. Very nice staff very friendly location was nice everything around the hotel grocery store by walking distance fast food walking distance next door very nice restaurant gas station also waking distance we recommend this place it’s very nice. 👍
