Executive Inn & Suites - Hotel in Oakland - 1755 Embarcadero, USA

Waterside rooms are nice, quiet with a balcony. Staff were great, room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good with many options, hot and cold, but ended too early (9:00am). Felt rushed. Freeway side rooms were too loud and windows didn’t open, we ‘upgraded’ for a fee after the first night for the rest of our trip.

A local friend recommended the Exexutive Inn and Suites to me on my latest California trip to the Bay Area. Initially I was only staying for the weekend, but I extended my stay for 4 more days because the rooms were great to stay in and spacious, the desk staff were all great to me (Luis and Kim) , the dinner was super great (best steak ever Chef Miguel), the bar staff (Elisa) made everyone feel welcome, the breakfast was good (don’t be late!) and the housekeeping staff worked really hard to keep things clean and tidy. I know where I’m staying the next time I come to the area. I appreciated the experience. I feel like I made some friends.

This place is amazing! Staff is so kind, they have good breakfast, and the place is beautiful. You can tell that this place is noticeably clean, and it smells clean too. Love it here!! Best affordable hotel in Oakland!!!

Très belle chambre mais très bruyante. Pourquoi doit on payer un supplément pour avoir une chambre calme côté fleuve? Personnel très sympathique. Piscine très sympa. Chambres propres. Très bel hôtel. Navette gratuite pour nous conduire au ferry mais uniquement le matin. Le soir, le secteur n’est pas très sécurisant et on doit se débrouiller pour revenir et ceci rajoute un certain budget (taxi ou Uber) si comme nous, vous souhaitez privilégier la marche à la voiture. Dans notre cas, nous aurions dû, pour ces raisons, choisir un hôtel directement à San Francisco mais si vous avez une voiture, je vous conseille cet hôtel si vous prenez une chambre côté fleuve. Petit déjeuner correct.

WORST PLACE TO STAY!! My brothers vehicle was stolen from this location after paying for parking (the vehicle should have been watched if he was charged for parking!) and paying to stay at this hotel! The manager refuses to compensate him for anything! They supposedly have night security but no one seen or heard his windows being broken! No one will say anything about this situation! I will be taking this higher up and this business will be hearing from my lawyer! Do not stay here unless you want you vehicle stolen and to be treated very poorly by staff! Do not waste your money to stay here! REBERTO refused to give his last name supposedly he’s the only reberto that’s works there and he is very rude and not concerned about the situation at all!

I love staying here and it's always my first spot to go when I need a room in Oakland. But I can't stress enough the importance of getting celiac safe food for your establishment. All autoimmune disease diets should be supported.

I recently stayed at this hotel for one night with my spouse, our service dog, and our one-year-old child. Despite arriving a bit early, we were warmly welcomed by the gracious concierge staff. Our room was impeccably clean and well-laid-out, with convenient amenities such as a refrigerator and microwave. The ground floor access to a walking path and small patio was a bonus, especially with a little one and a service dog in tow. While the parking fee of $17 per night was a minor inconvenience, it's worth noting that the hotel is situated in a less-than-ideal part of town, though we never felt unsafe during our stay. Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient choice for our short visit.
