We spent one night here during a trip to see the Native American mounds and it was quite fine for our purposes. Keep in mind that there’s no in-room coffee maker (although there is coffee in the lobby in the mornings) and they don’t leave an extra roll of toilet paper in the room like most other places, so plan ahead. It was clean and safe, and the service was pleasant. Apparently the motel is MUCH, MUCH better than the other local places in our price range, judging from the online reviews of the alternatives, so if you’re on a budget, we’d surely recommend it. Thanks for a pleasant stay!
Spend 20$ more and stay up the street. Terrible location, noisy and a lot of seedy people milling around. Terrible smells throughout the place. Staff was unpleasant. I checked for bed bugs twice, luckily none. The name is very ironic… I wouldn’t stay here again nor would I recommend this place to anybody.
Service was fine and the room was nice enough for what I paid but the location left a lot to be desired. Really bad element hanging out around the premises.
It’s really not that bad for the price! I’ve stayed here three times and never had an issue. I will definitely stay again. The rooms don’t smell the best I assume due to the carpet but everything else is clean. The first time I stayed I stayed by myself and didn’t think I would feel comfortable bringing my daughter here but I do now and have no worries.
Only adequate but a good price. The name is a joke. Liked · Good location, good price. The best thing is that most first floor rooms are accessed from indoors and the building has a brick exterior. Disliked · The hallway carpet was musty. There was an obvious smell of marijuana in the hall even though rooms were supposed to be no smoking. The hotel clerk was missing in action most of the time. There was a coffee pot in the reservation area and we were hoping to grab a cup when we left at 7 AM but no coffee was made and no check out clerk to be found.
This hotel is small and in a weird spot, but the rooms are clean and the place is quiet. It's the smallest room I have ever stayed in,, but it was comfortable and the TV had many channels, (fridge and microwave in rooms). Had to stay on a last minute deal but it was very accommodating ( don't expect breakfast)... Front desk staff was ok. ( it was a sketchy part of town with a truck stop across the street) so understand the attitude of the staff. I can recommend this place if you need a basic 1 or 2 days rest. No elevator but only 2floors. If you understand the Super 8 hotels then you will understand this hotel.
Positive: The staff quickly addressed the issue and assigned us a new room. The morning check out person was silent as I dropped off the key. Negative: The first room we were assigned to hadn't been completely cleaned and the bed was still striped when we opened the door. Negative: ""
Rooms were clean and the mattress and pillows were exceptional. Best night sleep in a hotel. Excellent security and they will put us in an inside room so felt very safe.
Ashley was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful but not pushy. I canât wait to get my chair and ottoman which will be delivered Friday. I stopped to look at another chair I had a picture of. Ashley showed it to me and it was beautiful, however
We had a great time very peaceful even though the police showed up it didn't interfere with us, nice to see their presence if something were to happen, they drove through a few times too. Nice to have so many areas and the pond with the ducks and swa
