I wanted to disable updates on my iPad because of this company (but honestly forgot to do it) and guess what, this morning, their iPad app stopped working because of that.
Argggggggh! Seriously, what kind of brain dead developers do you have that can't test the basic thing before releasing an update????. The app tries to load but then hangs up on retrieving resource or some other bs. Resetting the login helps for one time and then it bounces back to the same error!
I seriously can't deal with this company anymore! SO WHOEVER WANTS TO BUY ANY OF THEIR SURVEILLANCE PRODUCTS PLEASE THINK TWICE!
Also be aware that after you pay them thousands of $$ for their DVR, a few years down the road it will start popping up messages demanding you to pay them more for updates. :))) How much you would ask? In our case it was $600+ yearly! Yep, that's what I call ransomware. Although, on a second thought, can I pay you not to install any of your updates?
Anyway, just sent them a tech support request, saying that the update broke the iPad for the DVR (the primary tool I'm using in the store) and in response got crickets...... quite normal.

I've been using their DVR and its iPad app for over a year -- it's the end of 2016 now. I would gladly NOT use it but I have no choice because of my employer who purchased their surveillance system w/o doing a good research. So now we're stuck! So my advice to you -- stay away from this company!
So what's my beef? I seriously don't care about all the "cool" features they mention in the description. All I care about is being able to see the live feed from our security cameras. And make it reliable. That is it!
So what does their iPad app do? Every time I start it up the view freezes for a few seconds. Sometimes it comes back, sometimes it does not. So I have to force quit the app and restart it and only then it shows the live feed.
I contacted their tech support about a year ago and reported it as a bug. So what did they do? They said, aha. And did absolutely nothing!!!
I worked here for four years. Good people there.
