Serious gym with good equipment for lifters, at least one of just about anything you'd want to use (with the curious exception of a seated press rack). Good crowd and usually comfortably busy but not crowded. I can't speak to the group fitness classes but they sound like they're having a good time.
The staff is always friendly when I walk in the door and I’ve had very pleasant conversations with the other patrons. I only wish the gym had a better layout but hey, that’s Maine, you work with what you got. Much rather the gym as is than none at all!
Really enjoyed visiting this week. It still has a lot of elements from the golds gym days and that's not a bad thing. I'll be interested to see the finished facility once the transition is complete. Nice work, continue to provide that gold's experience with a facelift. Thank you!

A gym community with areas for personal or group workouts. Real lifting equipment and plenty of cardio equipment. Enjoyed my first day
I found this gym using my GymPass app. Great gym for the price I pay. Clean lockers, showers, and sauna. The gym floor is always kept tidy and everyone is respectful of one another and their space. Update: Been going here several times a week for a few months now. Still love it here!
Has alot of new equipment. The existing equipment is very well maintained. Great variety of workout options. Just wish I could get an appt. to get my BF tested on there new machine.
Not a clean facility equipment is consistently broken and needs work. Lighting is incredibly harsh and the general owners are not friendly. desk staff is super kind but the general facility as a whole is very underwhelming for the price. Ask well as a general lack of equipment maintenance
Great affordable, tasty food in a locally owned establishment! Thoroughly enjoyed the Shepherd's pie served with a smile by friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Even if you don't buy anything, this place is like a curiosities shop. It's fascinating! They have a lot of things from plants to taxidermy animals. It was awesome and I will definitely come back.

Great place to play basketball, they just redid the court. Hopefully it can stay nice this time and no kids destroy the rubber tiles. Best place in the bangor area to play, as well as a variety of park feature in the playground!
