We ate at this cute little house-converted-to-restaurant a couple of weeks ago. Parking was a challenge, but in this area of town, that's to he expected. The building neat, clean, and their decorations were nice. We were seated immediately and considered sitting outside, but it was raining, so decided to sit inside. The food was attractive and really very good! It reminded me of food I've eaten in Germany and some that my mother used to make. Unfortunately, there were two things that brought the rating down, for me. First, the service was pretty poor. Our waiter was pretty slow, didn't check on us much at all, and generally not very happy or friendly...maybe it was an off day for him; I'm not sure. But the second thing was the really rough one: in the room where we were sitting, it was EXTREMELY hot! It must have been around the 82-85 degree range, which doesn't make for a real comfortable eating experience... By the time we finished eating, my back was covered in sweat - never a good feeling. In the end, I'd be willing to try it again, and we may, but we'll probably have to sit outside if we do.
Every dish we had was phenomenal. The Borsch with mushroom ravioli was so earthy and herbaceous, I honestly don't even like beets and I am so glad I tried it. The smoked salmon on the salad was so tender and smoky, it just melted in your mouth and contrasted perfectly with the bright sweetness of the vinaigrette and pecans on the greens. Served with a poached egg and 2 pierogi which were the best pierogi I've ever had, so were incredibly rich and creamy and fried to perfection. The strawberry crepe was good but we were just so full from the meal 😁 5/5 I will be recommend this place to people I like
If you want something legit, get their potato pancake with goulash and ask for sour cream on the side. Put that sour cream all over on there and fold it in half. Enjoy. Real deal. And their sweet cheese and strawberry pancake. And this is from someone who was born in Poland. This is the real stuff. Great owner! Will definitely come back here.
Decent food was this restaurant's saving grace from a one-star review. Otherwise, this place checks every box: Long wait without being acknowledged before seating? Check. Disinterested, passively aggressive waitress? Check. Long wait time to order, receive food, receive bill? Check Incorrect order? Check Overcharged by inexplicably doubling the price of a meal? Check Still get the final price wrong after waiting for the correct bill? Check Never going back? Check.
Cabbage rolls taste just like my great grandmother's! The Borscht soup flavor is delicious, and the most beautiful color. Their dessert crepes are perfect every time. Truly a gem of a restaurant and incredibly fairly priced. Please eat here!
A great representation of European food but I just wasn’t wowed. I wouldn’t avoid going here but I’m not going out of my way.
The place is amazing, the atmosphere and you feel at home, the breakfast is the best, I recommend it 100%
I didn't take pics outside but I'm sure you'll see from the other reviews that the seating outside is pretty relaxing... Squirrels and all. Now the food, pretty good. The ambience, excellent. Great service, however you do have to be prepared for a wait. Settle in and get comfortable, start a convo... Part of why you're there 😉.

This is, by far, the best restaurant Iâve ever had the pleasure of dining at. The customer service is beyond outstanding. When you are seated, your wait staff already knows your name and they address you by your name the rest of the evening. Every
My bride and I enjoyed our stay immensely. It took a lot to coordinate a wedding and therefore didnât get to spend as much time as we wanted to at Chateaux as we wanted but the evenings were filled with romance due to the ambiance of the house. Th
