Excellent food. The flavor of everything was EXCEPTIONAL. Every soup and entre were fantastic. The only downside is that there are no alcoholic drinks. And there are very few vegetarian options, FYI.
Great food & welcoming environment! Awesome prices for the portions. The drink options are fun and interesting, and there are more options beyond the well known goulash, borscht, and golubsty. I was eyeing down the lagman from my home halfway across the country and it did not disappoint!!! Only here for four days and it was worth stopping by.
Amazing food and service. We went for a late lunch one day and we WILL be back. We got the kompot apricot drink, pelmeni dumpling appetizer, borscht, and goulash. Everything was incredible.
The restaurant has a cozy and family-friendly vibe. The location is a bit hidden, so you might need to keep an eye out for it. The service is friendly, though it can slow down a bit when the place gets busy. Having visited multiple times, we’ve consistently found the food to be delicious. We’ve tried a variety of dishes, including Frikase, Manty, Kuurdak, Bershbarmak, Lagman, and Samosa, and each one has been quite tasty. The Frikase stands out with its delightful creaminess, and the Manty Dumplings and Bershbarmak are packed with delicious lamb flavor. Keep in mind that Kuurdak might take a bit longer to prepare (around 20 minutes), while the other dishes come out relatively quickly. The portions of the food are fairly generous and filling.
The food quality was great! Highly recommended! They offer some tasty drinks as well.
Good food, I was happy to try halal Eastern European food and the national dish Behsbarmak. Friendly staff. Unfortunately some menu items were not available.
I wish I had more space in my stomach to eat more! Taste of my childhood. As if I’ve visited my granny. Especially the chicken soup. Delicious and fresh. Large portions! I wasn’t able to finish the medium portion. Will come again if I’m in Chicago next time.
What a hidden little gem in Chicago. I was craved for Russian food, and luckily this place popped up when I googled the Russian cuisine. I can’t believe this place is just right nearby where I walk my dog everyday, and I just never turned the corner to where it locates. The place is very family oriented. Serving Russian comfort food. From the dumplings to the noodles are all house made. Everything tastes so fresh and the seasoning just on point. It was my first time having Russian food, but certainly not the last time. I will definitely be back! ( on the other note, the bread they serve on the side was the best, too. Even though they don’t made it in house, but still 😅👍👍)
The ambiance and service at The Salaam are so beautifully designed. The servers were very courteous and made us feel very much appreciated. We felt very much cared for, while we had our dining experience. The food was tastefully seasoned, as well as
My son absolutely loves LifeTough Kids Boxing. He is in his second session, now in intermediates and we canât wait to see where the next level takes him. The coaches are absolutely incredible and the time and dedication they put towards the kids
In Chicago and stopped by this place. Grand opening for them. Wonderful people with a great spirit overall. Had a chance to dive into the whole thing of coffee coming from Ethiopia after meeting their African-American roaster of coffee. Lovely time -
I'm writing this review after taking a full year of classes at Vibez. Initially, I bought class packs and then signed up for the monthly membership (8 classes a month) once I knew it was a good fit. Over the course of 2023, I lost more than 20 pounds
Ive been coming to the Garage Gym heavy AF classes for 6 weeks now and absolutely love them! I was previously just doing one class a week and purchased the five pack, but I decided to move forward with a membership to start going multiple times a wee
I recently joined CrossFit Park Ridge and hands down, best choice Iâve made. Very warm and welcoming community. Workouts are challenging and never boring. And coaches are great! My only regret is not joining sooner. If youâre ready and serious a

This apartment was a great find for us. We had 4 adults and 5 kids and had plenty of space to fit us all comfortably. Importantly for our group the kitchen is well equipped - there have been many places we've stayed where there aren't enough bowls an
I tell all my friends who visit Chicago, or move there to check out Fly Club. The instructors are top-tier and it's a privilege to have so much talent in one facility. The spaces are beautiful, and the community is very welcoming. Even if you're a gu
We love Cafe Calida so much. We came here our last two mornings of our trip and regretted not coming earlier. Great menu with delicious pastries. My husband got a mocha and I got a Chai latte and they were both so delicious. Our first morning we came
Pizza was great. I love this style of pizza. Itâs a great place for a low key date night. Prices were extremely reasonable, especially for the quality. It is a family run business, the family has 2 generations of pizza making experience. Itâs a s
