Delicious food, friendly owner, fast service. Selected this place since it was 4.9 with 100 reviews and wanted to take a couple burgers home. We built our own 1/3 smash burgers with jalepenos and mushrooms and tried both the beer battered and steak cut fries! 100% will be back, burger was well made and juicy and the sauces where tasty.

Excellent burgers, decent prices, and great service! Had the double smash burgers and fries (steak fries), which were great! Awesome, friendly service and the food was ready rather quickly. Located in the 5th Street Market food court. It was a fairly busy place on a Saturday afternoon and had to find a rag, from one of the food vendors, to clean a table so we could sit down. This is the only reason I wouldn't give 5 stars. The food court itself seems decent is, fairly clean and nice, with a lot of seemingly good food choices. Definitely recommend Eugene Burger Company!

The best smashburger in town. Has all the makings of a perfect burger. The buns, the garlic aoli, beer battered fries with special fry sauce, and the burgers are so juicy and have an amazing crunchy crust from the smash.

I came here as a recommendation for the best smash burger around, and I was not disappointed. While eating it, I was having like a religious out-of-body experience. I had brought my kids grandfather along, and he also rated it a 10/10 burger, and he's a chef by vocation. I had to get a second one while I was here. Best burger I've ever had. Ask the chef for his recommendation for toppings and sauce.

We stumbled upon this hidden gem. We were greeted by the owner and his son, both went above and beyond. The 1/3 burger will melt in your mouth, our fries were perfect, and lemonade is delicious! Fresh local ingredients. 10/10 definitely recommend.

I was excited to try this place since I love smashed burgers. I ordered my food and it took 34 minutes to get the double smash burger I ordered, along with garlic fries. The seasoning on the burger patties was good - but the Pattie’s were way past well done - dry as the Sahara. I was expecting a juicy burger with all the rave reviews I’ve seen, and I was sorely disappointed. The fries were decent, as was their fry sauce I got to dip them in - 8/10 on the fries. I ate at a table there at 5th Street, and had parked in 30 minute parking. I had to feed the meter twice after initially paying for parking because it took so long to get my food. Would not recommend this place for lunch if you have 30 minutes or less, or are in a hurry.

I read the reviews and I think I was a little overhyped as the burger didn't quite meet the expectations I had. My kids loved their fries and chicken tenders and my wife loved her 1/3 lb burger. I had a double smashburger with special sauce, lettuce, Cheddar, pickles, and lettuce. The burger patties themselves were quite flavorful, but I didn't taste much of the special sauce. I could taste the quality of the ingredients, but perhaps because of the condiments I ordered, my burger wasn't quite all I thought it would be. The service was fast, friendly, and as good as you can expect from such a limited amount of interaction. The atmosphere is pretty cool as I love this sort of food court type atmosphere full of fun restaurants as opposed to fast food. I think if I were to grab a burger and fries from this place, I might grab a Thai Iced Tea from Thai Spice or a soda from maybe the BBQ place? The peach lemonade left much to be desired.

Best burger in Oregon? More like best in the WORLD. One of the few places you can actually get a medium-cooked patty, not a hockey puck. Got the beer-battered fries and they're perfectly cooked and seasoned, I'll definitely be back!
