Pleasant, comfortable, affordable luxury. The room was spacious, extremely well appointed. Minimal wear and tear visible. The bathroom was awesome, but the water pressure on the top floor leaves much to be desired. The staff was friendly, attentive and courteous.

Love The Estrella Hotel at Casino del Sol. Rooms are beautiful and clean. Plenty of towels and complementary bath essentials. Handicap rooms available upon request. Plenty of parking and handicap accessible. Staff very courteous. Highly recommend.

Terrrible pool and front desk experience. Staff refused to help with wristbands for pool area…after several guests from around the country came to town for a funeral. AWFUL. The children really needed to get some pool time after 2-days of funeral-related events. And because of unkind and unhelpful staff—we’re not able to. A bunch of crying kids under age 10: not good. I will stop recommending friends and family come here.

Horrible guest services…4 friends flew in from Hawaii, Texas, and Georgia for a child’s FUNERAL. Tried to bring kids to the hotel pool as a way to unwind after an extremely difficult few days. Front desk staff extremely unkind, ungenerous and not helpful. All kids upset and unable to use facilities based on a technicality. Friends and family usually always stay here when visiting on other occasions. Spend $$ at casino and bar…but will NEVER stay again after today’s treatment. Especially under the circumstances.

Room was great clean. Pool water seemed dirty my son kept getting hair balls on him. The young girl who was lifeguard at the pool kept blowing the whistle with every movement the kids did they were even afraid to move. The water slide closes at 6 which doesn’t make sense because check in is at 4 by the time we got settled in and changed it was 6. No food or drinks in pool area which water should be allowed because it’s hot out and kids need to hydrate.

I tried to stay here this weekend and they gave me less than 24 hours to contact them about my credit card being declined. When I contacted them, 28 hours after their correspondence, they let me know they had given the room away. I was issued a new card last week! YIKES!

The room was ok but the small refrigerator wasn't very cold and the ac/heater had a musty odor. The problem was that 2 days after I checked out the $50 deposit that was on hold became a charge. When I called about it, the desk clerk said it was cleared the day I left. The bank said I would have to get the hotel to reverse it so I went in person to talk to the hotel manager. He said I was charged for smoking in the room. I always went outside to smoke and nobody else came to my room except 1 non-smoker. He said that 3 employees agreed that it smelled like something was burning. Nothing was said about it when I checked out and I wasn't informed by text or email. On top of that he said I was banned from both hotels for life even though I've never had any problem at the Del Sol hotel. I'm 76 years old and know better than to try something like that.This seems a bit extreme and totally uncalled for since there was no actual proof because it never happened. I've heard from a couple of other guests that the same thing happened to them. They both believe that the housekeeping supervisor at the Estrella is behind it because they never had any problems at the Del Sol hotel either. Perhaps the a/c system is at fault or they need new houskeeping supervisor.

Room was large and clean. Very nice shower. Fairly comfortable bed. It was nice that we could check-in to the hotel without going into the casino. The pool and hot tub are right off the lobby. I didn't use either because I didn't want to shlep across the lobby in my wet swimsuit. Parking was a bit of a hassle since it is shared with the casino and was packed on the Friday we were there. Would be nice if parking was separate for the hotel.
