Loved this spot! We got a cortado with oat milk and the salted caramel latte with whole. Both were delicious and were done quickly. The best choice we made was to order a beef saltena; which we never had before, and it came out warm with sweet dough and crisp seams. Really woke us up. Doodling on the glass tables was super fun - thanks ESP!
ESP Tea & Coffee is a great local cafe that offers more than tasty food and craft beverages. It’s also a place of arts and culture. Staff are very friendly and attentive to assure meeting customers requests. People who enjoy arts will enjoy finding creative decors thoughtfully built within the environment.
A truly wonderful coffee shop. The mocha was excellent, and they have a wide selection of pies that makes their shop a bit distinctive. The mocha combined with the banana cream pie was heavenly. The ambience and decoration of the interior are fin and appealing, and they have some good outdoor seating out back. I also liked the dishes they use when dining in. The mugs are cute and appealing.
Although our visit was brief, this coffee shop was a highlight! We got mumbo potato pie and cold brew, plus an oat milk cappuccino. No vegan pie options when we visited, but they do often have them. I enjoyed looking at all the art and teas (got a free sample to try). It seems like they have a lot of community events which makes it feel homey. The baristas were super friendly and gave helpful advice about moving to the area! We are excited to return when we move to Alexandria.

We LOVE going to ESP. We found it because we wanted a special treat after my son's recurring doctor's appointments and he really likes tea. They introduced him to the London Fog (Earl Grey and steamed milk) which we now recreate at home sometimes. The service, drinks, snacks, and atmosphere were awesome every time. This place is a gem.
This is easily my favorite cafe in the area! It is super super cozy, it feels reminiscent of a Friends-style coffee house, with a mix of furniture and seating types, eclectic art, and a friendly, local vibe. It shines compared to most cafes, which have a more plain, industrial look to them. Staff have only ever been friendly and lovely to me. Food is quite tasty too! Wi-Fi available and always works well!
Wide selection of teas (with great explanations and descriptions on the menu), good pastries, and stellar service. Popular for folks working on their computers, with still an overall cozy vibe. Definitely my favorite place to get a hot beverage in this area. They also have an online shop and teas, coffee, and artsy goods for sale.
