Escondido Lodge - Motel in Escondido - 2650 S Escondido Blvd, USA

My mom is a senior who tries to get a room once a month for peace of mind. She went to this hotel and they took her whole deposit for one night. Said towels looked switched and bed looked moved She can barely walk, moving a bed is out of the question. She is so upset one night of independence and this has cost her an additional $125 to someone already on a fixed income..So horrible

Visited in April 2015. Stayed at the Escondido Lodge, which was affordable and conveniently located. However, the room was uncomfortable, they could benefit from improved cleanliness, limited breakfast options, and we had Wi-Fi troubles. Next time in Escondido, I’d explore other accommodations.

Love this place I highly recommend it to families or anyone it clean quite and the staff are so nice!!!

Best hotel for miles!!! I had an amazing time here!!! The manager is awesome!!! The staff is incredibly helpful and professional!!! The maids are friendly and treat you with so much respect!!! I recommend this hotel!!!

Esco Lodge is over off the Felicita exit off the 15fwy and located on the southern outskirts of town. The rooms are most often prices fairly, although sometimes they forget their primary customer base and Jack the prices sky high for the weekend, but I think that's mostly just for holidays. Anyways, I think they are in the process of remodling the rooms, and the property, and I look forward to seeing what they do with it. Overall, as it is right now, I like it, haven't personally had any issues with management or anything. Just be an adult, follow the rules and be respectful and you won't have any problems. 3 stars cuz it's a motel not hotel. +1 star cuz I like it. I think I have a pic of the room from my list stay, I'll pay it rn of I do. Total = 4star momo

Honestly it's exactly as expected. If you're expecting a 5 star hotel you'll be disappointed. I'm moving across the country with my 2 pets and I'm staying here for a few days. The room is clean and nice the staff is nice and I've had no issues. They allow pets with an extra fee (expected) and my cats like the room. I'd stay here again. Also the restaurant next door is good.

Excellent customer service from the night manager, we checked in at 10pm. The rooms are recently remodeled and appealing. Fridge and microwave were nice and clean the beds were comfortable. Parking can be an issue for larger vehicles. Free breakfast is viral and danishes and some fruit coffee is only in lobby with powder creamer and very small cups. Nice shower and clean bathroom. I would definitely recommend for budget and pet friendly rooms.

I've pretty much been living her on and off the past two years. Bathroom is clean. That's always important to me. All in all I know this place is safe. The owners don't want drugs or liabilities. If you see police dont always assume it's bad. Some work with the county workers to ensure places like these are safe too. The pool is beautiful. Clean. There is a microwave and a mini fridge and hot water. Thank you so much escondido lodge. This place continues to improve. They have been very kind to me and mine. Baby Karma appreciates you guys more than you know. I hope one day soon to have an apartment and get back to work and get my family back on track. Thank you and 💕 Also fix the volume issue in room 107 😆 There's also a decent priced restaurant next door BAPS! I usually get their $11 sliders. And a kid friendly park down the street at Kit Carson. A mall is nearby. And the grocery store is about three stop signs, and two lights away.
