I've been coming to this location once in a blue moon ever since it was Blue Mug Coffee & Tea (2002). Among locals, it's a very popular place, with great memories of making new friends, having casual business meetings, going for coffee after downtown events, catching up on the latest or just relaxing with the newspaper and/or a loved one on the weekend. With its wide-open entrance, it's fun watching the world go by on the sidewalk or side street. Years ago, I used to just quickly grab coffee on the way to work. More recently, I had lunch. I had a little time to relax on the tree-shaded patio before my tomato bisque and mediterranean salad arrived. Slowing down really made me savor the food. That's so important for being able to experience the individual aspects of a meal and what went into the preparation. The texture and subtle herbal flavors of the soup were divine. The artisanal bread was crunchy and delicious. The salad dressing was so fresh and tangy. When I expressed my appreciation, my server told me the details about how they made the meal. I was so impressed. She was clearly someone who loves food, ingredients and the work. That's so important for any establishment. It shows in the final product. The staff were all very hard at work. For patrons, the nice aspect of slowing down is getting to chat with each other on the patio. So, the name of this place may have changed but the vibe remains. Continuity is comforting. Shoppers might consider this place for quality gifts, e.g. wine and goats' milk lotion.
Absolutely yummy! Some of the best gelato I've ever had! The Birthday Cookie and the Smore's tasted super good, and it's fairly priced, too! I didn't get any of the other items on the menu yet, but I'm planning to soon since they sound interesting and the prices are good!
A nice place to drop by for a bomb treat. Especially during a hot summer day. Cool and delicious, get some for yourself, some friends or the family. Never the wrong time or moment for some sweets. it's a delight for the heart. The staff is friendly and accommodating for all patrons.
Came here with family and their iced cream is delicious! Our favorite was the butter pecan, strawberry black currant, and a minty white ice cream but I don’t remember the name
Support local business! This small gelato and sorbet shop is a gem! Service with a smile! Generous portions! There are a few tables inside and outside to sit and enjoy.
Street parking only.
I will definitely come back here next time I'm in Escondido
Very intimate shop with very delicious gelato, I'd go back just for the Samoa flavor. Tasted as if the girl scouts made it themselves.
Nice quant place for coffee, panini, and gelato. Had a good cup of coffee. Prices are fair. Batistas very pleasant. Some
Locally made gifts. Lotions, jewelry etc. Outdoor seating, cute shop.
My favorite place in town for coffee. I am a coffee drinker and this place has the best coffee in the County. It's cozy and the staff is friendly. The outdoor patio has that Euro vibe as well. Highly recommend! The only downside is that it does get extremely busy in the evenings on weekends so plan accordingly 😉
I cannot say enough incredible things about this gem! I was visiting the area from out of town and wanted to book an owl experience for myself. I saw that there was no availability for the only day I could make it out, so I called to inquire if they
My daughter started her taekwondo journey about a month ago with Master Ali. She loves North County Taekwondo. Master Ali is a great teacher, he shows patience but keeps a very structured class, with a foundation built on respect. He encourages the s
Kristin is an absolute gem. We have used Kristin for multiple occasions including business portfolio portraits, kindergarten photos, family photos and now our oldest sonâs senior portraits. She makes every aspect of the process easy and efficient
The ultimate no-frills craft beer patio. 9-11 beers on draft, a small selection of canned to-go. Great community vibe. Just a place to hang out with friends for a pint or two.
Best tattoo shop I have been too. Comfortable, laid back, and friendly environment. I wish I had found this place sooner bc I would have gotten ALL my tattoos here. Elvis is one of the best artists I have found, but his coworkers are all talented. I
Love this little winery. They have a great selection of wines, including sparkling. The layout and outdoor seeing is fantastic, the fire pit is a nice touch. The staff is always helpful and friendly as well.
Love this family owned winery! Their wine collection is great, the reds are delicious and love how they taste. If your favorite wine is red, I highly recommend this winery! Great customer service, beautiful scenery and nice seating areas!

One of my favorite places to hike in the San Diego area. Mostly a local haunt, so itâs not too crowded. Porta potty at parking lot. Dog friendly. Nice variety of trails. Definitely a good workout with a lot of steep ups and downs, but beautiful vie
