Great park, nice view, lots of picknick areas with plenty of covered picnic table areas with BBQ grills for each. Even lots of clean restrooms. And a small playground and a wonderful kids area with spraying water. 2 lakes, bridge, view platforms and a large water fall. Plenty of parking. As I remember handicap friendly. I highly recommend for couples & family, but also a good place for singles or groups of friends!
Well, I came back, and it is a clean park. Yet I guess they either heard or finally got addressed about the cascade water being so green that they finally put clorine to clear all because it looked clean this evening. The xmas lights they put were just lights, no color, just white, so it was ok. Yrs before was different but maybe next yr will be different to. So idk, and that's fine.
It's a nice park away from cars hitting you. Kids can run freely, but they added a wall by the cascade, which makes it look tacky. Kinda like when you're at the zoo and no animals, just an abandoned green alge pool. Kinda like that. I'm like, seriously, brownsville gets wid it. The picnic area is clean, but I'm not sure they charge just so you can cook out. That is meh!. Anyways, it's an ok area just to walk or maybe jog. But that water, tho, with that wall, doesn't look attractive. I'm just saying. Most likely, someone fell in, that's why the wall. But idk you be the judge.
Beautiful park. Very clean. Family oriented. It shows very much how the citizens of Brownsville take care of this park. Let's continue to see more parks like these. 👍 together we can all pitch in and help to keep our parks looking like this one.
It's a nice place over all but the playground part itself is really small and it's always busy after school and on weekends. There are pretty nice walking trails that go around the park with lots of palm trees. There are a ton of picnic tables with grills and outlets so great place to charge up your devices. The splash pad looks like it's nice but it was off most of the times we went and then they have the cascade part of the park next to it with a pool of water at the bottom but your not allowed to swim in it. Which is ridiculous it's right next to the dish pad, it would be so nice for them to allow swimming in it.
It's really great brownsville put this park up. Great place to take the kids out to play and have a Picnic. They have public bathrooms, two jungle gym areas with swings and slides. A water park area for kids. If you het there early like we did you have to touch the pole with the green top to turn on the water. There is also a large area full of picnic tables if you are having a birthday party.
Beautiful park!! Loved the Christmas decorations going up! There were lots of cobwebs and gnats but that's expected. The swings were pretty squeaky and loud enough that I couldn't hear my daughter talking right next to me while pushing her brother.lol
Great family fun park!
Probably one of the most decent parks we have visited since moving here, my kids enjoyed the playground and I enjoyed the peaceful sounds of the water from the cascade, we will definitely be visiting this gem again.

Simple, but nice trail system that goes around the edge of the disc golf course. Covered by trees. Great for hiking, jogging, or birdwatching, which is why I paid a visit. There are bathrooms near the playground on the northeast corner, but nowhere e

I enrolled my son here for Summer Camp and he loved it so much! It was a great way for him to make new friends, have fun and keep busy during the summer by being active. The staff was friendly and always communicated with me well in regards to my son
It's a park. Has been taken very good care of. Has 4 basketball goals a plastic playground for smaller children. You can also barbecue there, as long as you clean up after yourself.
I highly recommend Kuk Sool Won. They focus more on educating positive values and use martial arts as a way to convey these teachings. It shows kids strength and resilience. Shows them how to become strong, disciplined, motivated, and highly educated
Workouts are great! The staff is so nice and motivating because they push you through the workouts. It's like having your own personal trainers for 30 minutes because they watch what you do and make sure you're doing it right to avoid injury. Highly
