Before I started, I researched all the gyms in the area and decided on this one. And let me say, I am not disappointed in the slightest. The sense of community is great and everyone is there to help each other and get better. Eric is a great teacher and explains the techniques so anyone can learn them no matter their skill level. We also spar everyday which is crucial to learning it and helps you progress much faster. Everyone is careful and is there to help you learn so safety is super good. Not to mention, the amount of training and expertise/knowledge you get for the price is amazing. Last but not least, there is a variety of people at different belt levels so it’s perfect for anyone looking to start or continue training. I recommend this gym to everyone!

What a class act in all ways! I dropped in for an evening workout and everything was so solid. The class was skilled, respectful, and fun. Professor Eric taught so clearly and shared his experience and knowledge abundantly. I was especially impressed with his humility with the art (because he is so highly ranked). I'd recommend this school as a regular student, a hobbyist passing through town or one who is curious and would like to give jiujitsu a try. I'm coming back whenever I can.

Fantastic gym! As an inexperienced female practitioner, I feel that Eric creates an environment that highly supports learning. I was a little intimidated joining a male dominated sport, however, every team member has been incredibly inviting, and it’s exciting seeing more females joining. I’m really lucky to have found this gym!
