Gorgeous hike. Highly recommend if you don’t have a car, catch an Uber or ride share first because the hike is steep! Wear good shoes. The view is phenomenal and so worth while. The late afternoon is the best time as when the sun sets, the city just lights up
Ensign Peak provides a bird's eye view of the Utah valley. It is an affordable trail which could be negotiated in about 15-20 minutes with a leisurely pace. To my disappointment the visibility was not proper due to the prevailing pollution.
Great little hike. We did this as a first day intro hike in SLC. The trail is a little steep in some section. If you are in relatively good shape you will have zero issues doing this. Just take your time, and take breaks as needed. The views from the top are worth it. Recommend doing this 30 minutes prior to sunrise / sunset. Offers great views of the entire SLC area, and will be cooler. If you decide to do this mid day when it’s 90 with no water. You’ll struggle.
Not a long hike but not an easy hike. Incredible views of the salt lake valley
So there I was, several hours to kill before my flight so I walked from Downtown to this sweet little peak. Nice way to get the heart pumping while getting served some gorgeous views of the city. Why not a five star? Because the water fountain at the park wasn't on and had to walk all the way to a Maverick for a drink. Lol Good times!
Beautiful short hike, highly recommended to visit the peak during sunset!
Great shorter and easier hike that still gets the blood flowing and is rewarding with an awesome panoramic view.
The trail is a total muddy and icy mess in the winter. Pretty easily fixed with some sand or gravel. Or reroute the trail to the sunny side of the mountain instead of the back side. Very disappointing the local association doesn't take better care of such an important landmark.

I have been coming here since I was a kid. This was always my favorite park, and now, having kids of my own, I'm able to let them experience the same joy this place brought to me when I was young. There is so much to do and endless places to explore.
Amazing off leash dog park, people and pups are all very friendly. Highly recommend. There are two fun water areas and plenty of shade throughout most of the trail.
Beautiful spot to oversee Emigration canyon from up top. The trail is not too difficult with steady elevation gain. Would recommend you bring buffer water in the summer if you plan to go all the way up as there arenât much shades!
I got to see the moose with her twins, only a few days before they were unfortunately caught in water and trapped. The cow was able to be rescued and relocated, but her twins were not. These may be some of the last photos of them.
Wide dirt/gravel path- good for strollers and wagons with hardy wheels. Dogs okay on leash. When there's water this is a great walk for distracting littles. There are little "secret" paths down to the water and you can watch the squirrels, the birds
Beautiful park with lots to do. There's a playground, rides, pool, tennis courts, and lots of areas to walk around. There a free small museum exhibit and a paid aviary. The aviary is well worth the $12, tons of birds on exhibit great for kids and adu
Just a fantastic place to take a look at the city and the valley. Plenty of parking and there is a water fill station. If you come during sunset its like an extra treat. Toy can take several little trails of varying elevation change and you can al
Its a lovely place to play a number of games and one of very parks around SLC Valley where Asian cricket pitches are installed. Additionally, It has a playing area for kids, and soft baseball pitch. Negative point = soccer ground has a lot of pits.
I absolutely love Shred415!! I swam competitively, have run marathons and mountain bike regularly, but Shred415 was the game changer for me. I signed up for a membership soon after having my first kid, and can honestly say it put me in the best shape
Epic fitness is a fantastic gym of caring, modest, highly trained and skilled fitness experts. The atmosphere is like nothing Iâve experienced, extremely welcoming. The equipment and setup of multiple stations is awesome. The workouts are custom to
