This gym is not only for doing exercises and workouts. Here you can have belly dance classes, visit a sauna and they have a great swimming pool. I like it and recommend highly to visit this place.

I typically live in Richmond Virginia, however, a couple times a year I come to visit my grandparents in Englewood. I care deeply about my health and workout 6 days a week at home, so when I visit I have to come to the ymca in englewood. For the past 3 years I’ve be going in the morning to the y and every time have a bad encounter with the worker at the front desk by the name of Darlene. She’s an older lady and never has anything nice to say, she’s always in a bad mood and frequently makes rude snarky comments. I am not the only person who has had encounters such as these, my brothers, sister, and mom all have issues with this lady. She’s very unprofessional and not someone I would want greeting my costumers every morning. Very sad to see countless mornings ruined just as mine have been by someone who clearly doesn’t deserve her position.

Our kids play basketball in the youth league. Great facilities, clean, they recently re-did the whole gym area. They've got state-of-the-art equipment and machines, as well as classes you can sign up for, even swimming lessons

Looking for a safe YMCA with friendly staff, well-maintained machines, a variety of classes, and considerate patrons? This is it. It's a great YMCA.

Great workout facility with outdoor pool. Nice locker rooms and shower areas. Would have given this a 5 but they ended their contract with Silver Sneakers so it’s not practical to join for the two months we are in Englewood.

This Y is not part of the national Y network! If you do not belong to this Y you will have to pay to enter or you might be able to fill out paper work for a 5 day pass. The court floors are gone, no pickleball or basketball. The exercise machines are a bit old. The outdoor pool is nice.

The classes are versatile and well run!

Very nice facility had a chance to try out the outdoor pool, and joyed it very much. My first time in Florida, I will be back. I was shock that it get that warm.😎
