Encore Motel - Venice - Motel in Marina Del Rey - 13432 Washington Blvd, USA

We visited for one night in July 2024 with friends. The motel was even better than expected! It has free parking, rooms are clean and have everything you need including fridge, microwave, iron, ironing board, coffee maker and toiletries. Very impressed with the room for the price and location. It’s not too far from Venice Beach area which suited us. There’s also shops within walking distance if you fancy a bite to eat! We would definitely recommend a stay here and if we visit LA again we will definitely stay here.

If I could give this motel zero stars, I would. Highly recommend against staying at this h place, no matter the circumstances. I have been trying to get a refund for my room for weeks after reading the reviews of bedbugs and homelessness making the area unsafe. I was told by the property manager that I am entitled to a refund equal to one nights fare, despite my reservation being for longer. I chose to cancel my reservation and now the property is refusing to even give me that one night refund. I could not recommend this disgusting motel less due to unprofessional business practices. Avoid at all costs.

Decent furnishings, a good bed, well cleaned. We had a poorly running drain in our shower, first morning we mentioned it and when we returned in the evening it had been fixed. Good included parking. 30 minutes walk straight shot to the Venice pier, you can even follow parallel streets to Washington Blvd which makes it a pretty decent experience on foot or by bike. The Firestone Walker Brewing Company close by is a great joint, and its right near the In-N-Out. Two separate stays, one for 9 days and another single night. No complaints, would recommend to anyone. Fair warning, the fridge and AC are both really loud. Run the AC on full blast for a bit before going to bed and you should be fine turning it off though, its really powerful.

Bed bug. I scheduled to stay here for 2 nights and like I do with ANY place I stay is strip the bed. After check in, upon my search, I came across a creepy crawley between the fitted sheet and the mattress protector. I went and asked if I could get a different room or a refund and they said I could call priceline (where I booked) to get a refund and they would approve it. As we were leaving, the male was going to clean the room and was upset about how the bed looked (messed up sheets) and instructed the women to call priceline back to deny the refund. No offer for another room so essentially trying to scam me out of my money, but the refund had already been processed. Parking is very tight here but you're car is right outside your room. I DONT recommend this place AT ALL after the couple running it became disgruntled.

We stayed here for 2 nights last May. For a 1 star motel it was very good! No noise from the busy street and in 15 minutes you are on the Santa Monica Pier. (Free) parking is available in front of your room. It can be tricky to enter the street from the parking, but hey if that's all. Would recommend.

We stayed one night here, and picked this place due to its location and price. Our room was clean, and all plumbing fixtures were working well. We were in a corner unit and we only had one small window. A deadbolt should be provided, but I didn't feel unsafe - lots of cameras on premises. We found the staff to be very friendly (thank you Sam).

This place was overall ok, although there were a lot of little things that were average: All the taps appear to be turned off underneath the sink so when you turn the normal tap on, nothing came out. I leant under the sink and turned on the tap at the wall and lo and behold, water came out of the tap. That's great for water saving, but really inconvenient for guests. At least the room was clean and they were able to let me check in late.
