They don't make them like this anymore. No it's not deluxe digs but you've got everything you need for a wonderful beachfront vacation at an awesome family beach. The views don't get much better than they do here and the staff is wonderful. Everything is included here for one great price. Free beach chairs, free wifi, free parking, full kitchens, room to spread out in the bedrooms and living areas, a pool and shuffle board, beach toys for the kids, hot dogs on Wednesdays for the complex and sometimes a movie night on the beach or yoga on the beach. Coffee and doughnuts on Mondays with the staff. Overall it's a great week if you stay the whole time which I definitely suggest. Relax under the coconut trees and take in the view. The lifeguard station is right there so you can swim safely. I've owned here for almost 30 years and look forward to coming every year. Now you can rent from Vacatia.com too.
Wonderful place that’s budget friendly and makes it easy to enjoy a very nice beach, with provided chairs and towels. The kitchen makes it very convenient with everything provided to feed the family on a tight budget.
Trying my best for a fair and honest review: TLDR: We would be willing to return The cons: Lots of things are just in a state of disrepair. The pool closes at dark but there is no one there to enforce the rules and unruly teenagers will scream and splash in it until someone shows up to make them stop. Staff leaves at 5 pm. They have paddleboards there for use by guests but they only have 3 so may the odds be in your favor. Quite often other guests just hog one all day next to their lounge chair so we got to use one once. There weren't really any activities that you would expect at a resort (Monday breakfast some guests took all the fruit in bags back to their rooms so you got what was left, Wednesday was some hot dogs by the pool, Thursday was supposedly yoga on the beach in the morning). Not once did house keeping come to the room during our stay even though it's advertised they do once. Sometimes parking is a pain to find a space even though you are guaranteed one per room. The pros: It's quiet (usually) Nearly all the staff was super accommodating and nice. I cannot stress this enough. The humans while they are there are almost all super willing to help even with a language barrier for some. The location provides for no excessive beach goers or traffic. Having a kitchen with a fridge is very nice if you are budget travelers. We were kindly afforded early check in as our room happened to be ready when we got there which was a huge plus. Walking distance to the boardwalk. Overall, we likely will return but I do hope that some of the repairs are accomplished. If you are expecting a typical resort experience with lots of activities you will be disappointed. They do have affordable room options though.
Fantastic quiet location south of the Hollywood broadwalk and within walking distance from the south end of the broadwalk. Like most of the older hotels on Hollywood Beach, it's a little dated, but for me that's part of the charm of Hollywood Beach. The room and facility were clean. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.
This was my first time staying here and it was exactly what I had envisioned for my beach vacation. Directly on the beach, close to the Broad walk and other shops. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Rooms are older and are a little outdated. But very close to the beach. Heated pools our kids loved. Free hot dogs, chips and cookies for lunch on Tuesdays.
It was small, but we made it work. We saw some of the rooms are bigger and some smaller from the outside, so it's all good. Many of the hotels nearby are older, so we understood that the hotel would look a little older. The staff was super nice, and we really enjoyed ourselves! We were next to a smoking room and the smell traveled through the vents somehow, but it was occasionally.
We needed to clean our 1 bedroom. There was food on the stove and in the fridge. We also had to use ‘Wet Ones’ on the floors. It took 4. We booked two weeks and were told on Friday of week 1 that we needed move rooms for week 2. They forgot to tell us check in. The first unit was very spacious, overlooked the pool and even had a partial ocean view. The new unit is literally half the size, overlooking a wall, broken chaise chairs, broken hose reels and empty propane tanks. It’s like we’re being punished. The location is the only redeeming feature.
I wasn't in the resort. Just the tiki bar on the boardwalk. It's a cute, very friendly place. With a few drinking options and snacks. Great view to the beach.
Easily my favorite hotel. The lobby and the restaurants are so welcoming and the food is great. Pools and bars adjacent to them are terrific. Location can't be beat! Everyone we encountered from the valet, bellman, front desk and bar staff were s
I didn't stay in the hotel but I wish I had! It's very expensive. However, it's well taken care of and gorgeous inside. I had a chance to check out one of the pools, and it was everything. I went to gamble. If it's your first time gambling with them,
This was easily my favorite hotel I have ever stayed at. The valet service was absolutely wonderful and VERY efficient with prompt service. The front desk was very helpful and resourceful. The location was absolutely PERFECT around everything and ext
When ever I'm in the Hollywood area I schedule a hot yoga class with Liz. Liz is loving and a great yogi and teacher. Liz has built a great yoga community making the classes inviting. The studio is clean, and nice, the heated ceiling panels make it
