Really pretty scenery. We went for a low rider car show briefly just to give the kids something to do. They loved it and so did I. I would come back for a picnic next time!
Really nice and peaceful park. Tennis, basketball, volleyball, baseball and biking allowed here. Swings and two size playgrounds for different ages. Plenty of shady parking too
Encanto Park in the Southern California city of Duarte is a picturesque and well maintained tree lined park nestled in a quiet family oriented community!
They have a nice quarter mile trail around the park and there is a Duarte historic museum on the parks premises as well!
Just off of Foothill Blvd and near the 605 fwy

Plenty of parking during the week it fills up on the weekends. Nice flat areas to picnic, play soccer or fly a kite. Basketball courts, tennis and a nice dirt walking trail. There is a small museum that is free. Beautiful view of the mountains.
A lot of bicyclists park here and go across the way to the trail that follows alongside the river. An old railroad bridge crosses the river. There are homeless people living in the river bed and they come over to the park. That is the biggest negative to this park.
Alot of people know about this park sit's next to San Gabriel riverbed great for biking, jogging, baseball, Soccer, tennis, vaccinations for your pets 😁 I can go on an on.....
I am getting to enjoy more and more over the months with this delightful sanctuary. From the vantage point of the entrance, it is situated at the foothill of some stunning mountains, like straight from the cover of a travel magazine. In the middle is an open plain, surrounded by trees. On the left side, a habitat-like pond and stream, whereas on the other side, there are sitting areas and overhead cover. One could always find a suitable space to play sports, practice yoga, meditate, read a book, or engage in whatever suits the body and mind. This location evokes a certain nostalgic and natural feel, as opposed to some others that are more artificial or man-made. It appears that the neighbors and local administration have invested care and resources to nurture and maintain this gem away from the crowd, which is a privilege for visitors to immerse themselves in or reminisce about those who have tread on the same path before!
Peaceful, clean and quiet neighborhood park. This beautiful park nestled at the foot of a high mountain. The path with flowers and big trees is wonderful for taking a walk. There are various sports facilities. It would be nice to come as a family.
I was not at Encanto Park, I was at Duarte Historical Society Museum.
Monrovia Duarte Black Alumni Association had our Kick Off in celebration of Black History Month. Thanks Liz Reilly for your partnership. Special thanks to Dr Derik Smith speaking about Robert Hayden who's the first Black Poetic Laureate.
Nice park and plenty of space for kids and families to play and relax. The trees provide of a lot shade and thereâs a covered gazebo for parties or for picnics. Thereâs a field on one side you could easily set up for volleyball or play some socce
I first joined powerhouse on their 6 month membership in industry. Due to relocation, i came back a year later to Duarte. I will admit a gym like 24 hour is a lot cheaper, however, what brought me back was the staff. Not only their knowledge in the
Got Baked Salmon and volcano baked roll. Both baked to perfection. Staff is super friendly. Prices are very reasonable. I did a pick up order at the end of the night so restaurant was empty as it 5 mins before closing but they were still super patien
