Lovely nature and hiking area tucked away in St. Louis. There are paved trails and some unpaved trails. You can hike along a ridge that overlooks a river which is very scenic. There were also lots of deer here! Parking can get tight.

It's a 2 mile loop on the outer wooded trail and a half mile loop on the hardball interior road. The outer loop isn't on the map. It's pretty neat though. It has some good little climbs with some nice spots for pictures and some cool little bridge crossings. It's well kept too. The only thing was it has a part that kind of just goes out of the woodline and into someone's back yard. We got there and had to double back. There's a lot of neat exploring opportunity with the kids and the trail isn't very difficult in any areas.

Great place to walk the dogs. No bikes allowed. Leash laws strictly enforced which we love. The paved trail is great. There are some footpaths that go through the woods and up and down pretty steep hills. Wear good shoes and be careful in the fall because leaves hide tripping hazards such as rocks and roots. We would visit again. 10/10

Great park for walking or hiking right next to the Meramac River and 44. Plenty of trails, some paved and unpaved. When doing the bluff trail start counterclockwise to save the best views for closer to the end. Nothing seems to be marked very well so I would suggest the All Trails App or some other trail app unless you have a decent sense of direction. Fun park that you could explore for a couple hours easily.

By far my favorite park to hike in Saint Louis metropolitan area. Located right along the Missouri River. Beautiful views galore for those who enjoy photography. Tons of trails to explore, both paved and off-beaten paths. Dried up riverbeds littered with fossils. Bluffs that cut-through and overlook the entire area. 'Challenging' obstacles such as having to walk across logs to get from one point to another. Lots of wildlife (I've come across many deer and even wild turkey). Decent size, but still small enough to where you can bring your family, friends, and pets without having to worry about anyone getting lost. Cell phones still have service. The perfect combination of nature and civilization!! Can't wait to go back this year. 😎

Great spot for a bit of nature hidden in the suburbs when I don’t have time to drive to areas further away. Terrain is easy, so it felt more like a walk than a hike. The mix of paved/non-paved paths is nice. First time visit, and since I don’t have a trails app, it would have been nice if an on-site map was available to easily see how the paths linked up or looped around. Will probably go back.

Pretty cool place to hike! Sweet views with a couple different trails. We went up the hill to the top where it ends at a field with some apricot trees. Picked some and took them home. Saw a ton of deer. But on the way back we saw a lady talking to the cops after she caught someone breaking into her car. So keep it empty if you plan to park here

This is a great park to get in some much needed steps. There are different trails to take for the level of hiking you are looking for. And it great if you want to go off trail as well.
