We stayed at Emma’s Bayhouse on August 5th, departing August 6th, and I must say, it was the most relaxing weekend we’ve had in a very long time! We stayed in the Betty Annette room, which was absolutely wonderful! It was spacious, well decorated and had a door that led out to the huge walk around balcony!! The hostesses, Dawn and Michelle (sisters) were delightful, and a pleasure to talk with! Even with a storm brewing, the sunset was gorgeous! Granted it was hot and muggy, but we’ve already made it a plan to return in the Fall!! I can’t wait! Oh! I’m not a breakfast eater, but the breakfast was out of this world!! See y’all in the Fall!
Emma’s Bayhouse is a beautiful home with amazing views. The breakfasts are delicious and served in their dining room which overlooks the water. It’s right by a big park and pier with a walking trail. We were walking distance to downtown fairhope and felt like the whole trip was a ‘foodie’ tour. We stayed in the Betty room and actually met Betty. It’s just a gorgeous stay - book now! You won’t regret it!!
Delightful! Southern hospitality filled with love! The best time here with family and friends for Christmas! Thank you! We will be back!
Handsome and well-decorated family-run home is perfect for those seeking a little R&R. Its rooms are large, quiet and comfortable. The wide porches offer plenty of chairs to rest, read and just look out on the water. Plenty of dining options within walking distance, say 3/4 of a mile. There are nice, shaded paths for walking in either direction, a must after enjoying a delicious, home-made breakfast.
Delightful place. Beautiful and marvelously decorated. Delicious breakfast and great service. I especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine watching the sun set over Mobile bay. Definitely a return trip is in order.
This BnB was an absolute treat and perfect for a sister’s weekend. The ladies running the Bnb were all a treat to talk with.
We stayed in the Dawn Marie, the only room downstairs. There was a nice sitting area, and the bathroom was spacious. It was a walk in shower with maybe a 1-1.5 inch ledge to block water from running out. Would be a good option for those unable to climb stairs and/or get in bathtubs.
The coffee service at 0730 was a great way to wake up and start the day. Breakfast at 0830 was amazing! Throughout the three days we had French toast, eggs, and bacon; veggie quiche, bacon; grits, eggs, bacon, and muffin.
Location: great. Close to the water walkways, and about a 15 minute walk downtown.
My husband and I have stayed at Emma’s three times now and we plan on going back as soon as we get another free weekend. Comfortable rooms, great location, delicious breakfast and always clean. What more could you want?
Instant favorite. Best place to stay on the bay by far. Fresh coffee brought to your room every morning, and the breakfast was amazing. Perfect location, right next to beautiful walking trails and the best restaurants fairhope has to offer. Will 100% be back.
Best of all was their customer service! (even when accommodating a special request I had.) Perfectly sized croissant breakfast sandwich with a tangy twist. Open dining room to enjoy my delicious breakfast sandwich and coffee while sitting in the most

Cute packaging and great donuts! I asked for an assortment and let them choose. I was buying for a group of 5 and the dozen was plenty. I had a chocolate iced and a chocolate iced barvarian cream filled. Both were delicious.
.What an experience. I came to this town by chance but I also don't believe in coincidence. This 2 floor museum is full of history and surprises. I didn't know about Organic Education or Single Tax corporation. The relics of history here are vast and
