Visiting 9/18/22 early evening. Dating back to 1790, this is a must-see if you're in the area. One of the oldest covered bridges with lots of history. It still has the wrought iron windows, which are pretty cool. Wooden bridge that crosses over a gorgeous creek. The creek is accessible. Just be careful getting down the embankment. Parking is a problem. Just have to pull over & out of the way. The drive to it is beautiful and scenic with some old homes along the way. It's a little community with lots of history. I've included the plaque in my photos with the history.
Super cool older bridge along side the road. There is a small spot you can pull over and take a photo. Highly recommend seeing if in the area and like older bridges.
Great old fashioned covered bridge that is used every day. Great picture spot too.
We did a quick stop here before heading into town, a neat little covered bridge with a walking area on it. There are some small rapids nearby as well. Very picturesque indeed!
Pretty drive to get to the bridge (we went a bavk way from Sevierville). Bridge is pretty too!
Beautiful bridge just off the main hwy. There is a small pull off spot to park. The creek running under is a locals fishing hole.
We enjoyed bring able to take some nice pictures at this location. We were very cautious and courteous of those traveling down this road because this is a one lane bridge.
We found this covered bridge while on our family vacation. My 4 boys and I hiked down and were able to get beautiful pictures of the River below. The only bad thing is parking. There is private land all around. There are only two spots to park that are not privately owned.

Our family has visited here for over 25 yrs! My office even has visited for team retreats. Fam owned and operated-AMAZING service, clean luxurious cabins w views! Very minor water issue today and they fixed the issue fast and efficiently!! Impressed!
This campground was amazing!! It is out of the main area a bit, which for us was nice, you can easily get to everything within about 5 minutes or so but it is very quiet when you need a break from the hustle and bustle. The RV sites were spacious and
One of the historic buildings of The Great Smoky Mountains NP. It's a 2.2 mile hike from Metcalf Bottoms or you can take a narrow one lane gravel road back to shave one mile off the trip. It's currently in the restoration process but still very much
Really cute, clean, and nicely situated cabin. Great place to stay. Close to all the attractions in Pigeon Forge. Pet friendly and such a nice place! We enjoyed the stream. The cabin had a good assortment of pots and pans, dishes, and cooking accesso

The food was excellent with huge portions. The service was top notch as well. We always enjoy the Apple julep and apple fritters with apple butter that hits the table as soon as you sit down. Great place to eat, you will not leave hungry.
We took our kids for their first camping trip. Of the 4 primitive tent sites, only one is level. We didn't get that one. =/ Fortunately, the staff is super kind and accommodating and allowed us to move our tent to an open field nearby for our second
Two HANGRY families with 9 little mouths to feed meant that we need good and quick food. Happened to be close to Papa Leone and they were an absolute delight. Not only did they satisfy the hungry but the pizzas were really good. The dough is thin and
I absolutely love this place! The coffee and teas they serve is delicious and kinda addictive. I love how they have a "pay it forward" board and both an inside and outside fire pit. The atmosphere of the outside and inside is home-like and makes you
Great food, great service! The garlic knots were fantastic and the wings were good. Pizza was on point as well. Food at other tables all looked delicious as well. Would only suggest a little cleaner restroom/update of the decor. If we lived closer th
