I love this place. It's a great place for nature walks with the kids, great place to do a photo shoot, or just chill and take in a sunset. A true gem of Manatee county. PS my kids 8 and 6 took all the pics.

This is a good park for lots of short well shaded trails through the front half of the point. It is a good place for fishing lots of places to wade in and drown some shrimp. It has a large pavilion for events, and a couple of cute stops for picnics. The kayak launch area can be tricky if youbare not watching the tides. The mangroves hang low and the pass is shallow so you have to find a happy medium to get through unless you launch at the tip.

Beautifully kept nature preserve and park with several walking trails and beautiful shoreline scenery. Very peaceful place in the midst of the busy urban environs of Bradenton. Great for picnics, a walk with the family, or exploring Florida's birds, plants, and mangrove trees.

Beautiful location. I almost want to put it as a 1 star for that reason. The wrong type of people start frequenting this place it won't be the same. Great walks, cool wild life.

Nice quiet get away area. Only complaint I have is Porta Jon's can go a long time before being cleaned.

One of the most beautiful natural spots in Florida. It is patrolled by helpful rangers, who probably need to stop occasionally and pull up the easily discoverable exotic invasives. Good job on the Brazialian pepper...not so much on the variagated Philadentron vine.
