Emerald View Resorts - Resort hotel in Panama City Beach - 9902 S Thomas Dr, USA

Our bed was uncomfortable (hard as a rock). There wasn’t enough blankets for the beds, our couch smelled like pee, the couch bed was falling apart and you felt every spring in the mattress. The dryer in our room was broken never actually dried our clothes. Customer service was great prior to our stay, but then when we got there never responded, answered the phone or called us back after I emailed and left the messages. Sometimes you had to wait 45min for an elevator, we were on the 23rd floor stairs weren’t an option. Security manger was rude, when I asked about the kids getting back into the pool due to weather, I even apologized prior to asking him. They changed our room code 30min before check out time (rude) what if we forgot something? We had to pay an extra $75 for parking after paying 1400 for a room for 5 days. Then had to park in the yellow spots, which were hard to find and/or park extremely small. I sent pictures (of what was broken) to the email we used to send our paperwork to, They finally responded after 2 days and just said the forward it to owner and maintenance but no one came to fix anything. I would not recommend staying here, unless you get to pick your condo. I’m sure some are nicer than others. Ours was not the best.

Awesome amenities but the rooms r outdated, master bed was terrible and I slept on the couch. We found broken things in the room when we arrived. Pools and hot tub were enjoyable and great Temps. ALOT of walking though for anyone with disabilities. I have a back injury and it was difficult at times to walk so far between the amenities. We had someone jump off the balcony across from our room at another facility and then someone committed suicide in the parking garage while we were there. The staff and police did handle the situation good but what an experience. The view of the beach was beautiful but for the money I was disappointed in the cleanliness and quality of furniture in the rooms.

The condo was gorgeous and enjoyed our stay in it. However, it was around other half side with no parking so we walked forever it felt like and hard bringing luggage or groceries because the luggage carts are only on first floor. They make you get out of hot tubs at 10pm but first floor got to stay till 12!? There's a 70.00 parking pass that I haven't had to pay at others. Guards have a Jamaican accent so it's hard to understand occasionally and got mad when you didn't understand. The elevators take at least 15 mins and makes it super hard to get luggage to the car for check out on time. A few didn't even work and some of the time it was workers taking the elevators up. Also they sent us a message if we wanted to stay an extra night(it stormed most of the week) for a discounted rate. Friday was when we were checking out and first sunny day all week so we called to do the extra night. They said no it wasn't available for us! Then why did they even ask??? Won't be staying there again or half the other guests I met.

I reserved a 2 bedroom condo at Grand Panama Beach Resort for 3 nights. I used Booking.com but they used a third party, Emerald View Resorts, for my booking. I fully paid for my booking upfront. We checked in late, at midnight. Upon opening the door of the condo there was a mildew odor! We were tired and only wanted to sleep but noticed that one of the beds had a cream colored blanket and the other had a brown dirty blanket. I wasn’t going to cover with a dirty blanket so I placed the brown thin blanket in the washer thinking it would be clean by morning and went to sleep covering only with the sheet! In the morning I proceeded to place the blanket from the washer to the dryer but noticed it was full of water. I emailed Emerald View Resorts to let them know that the washer is not working and they sent maintenance to fix it. The gentleman came and said he can’t fix it or get a new one because it’s Saturday and said he’ll let management know and that I would be reimbursed for this inconvenience. The dryer was rusted and I would not have put any of my clothes in it. Now for the rest of the unit: The kitchen was terrible, the faucet didn’t work properly; the utensils were dirty and rusted; the coffee machine was dirty; the drawers were dirty; the right outside of the fridge had mold; the chair cushions were all filthy. The balcony was unusable; had a lot of pieces of furniture, some rusted and all filthy and smelled moldy; it looked like a junkyard! The air fans and vents were full of dust. Emerald View Resorts responded to my email and said that they will deliver a clean blanket and that they are forwarding my email to upper management to review my other issues, most of what I wrote here. The only thing they did so far was to deliver a blanket. I still haven’t received an email from upper management to address my concerns. I contacted Booking.com and they were very helpful in addressing my concerns with Emerald View Resorts. I would caution anyone using Emerald View Resorts; they are a dishonest company and misrepresent information about rentals. They are quick to take your money but nonexistent if issues arise. My rental was supposed to include a washer and dryer but that wasn’t the case. All of the pictures Emerald View Resorts used for this booking are not representative of anything we actually got. If I could give no stars I would! This deserves 0 stars!

This resort consists of 4 other locations, all condos to rent or buy. I rented Laketown Wharf, across the street from the beach. It has 21 stories, 5 pools one is heated, a golf putting green. Beautiful spacious condos, view of the city on one side and beach on the other. Close to a golf course.

We stayed at laketown Warf and was completely disappointed. We have stayed here a few times and never had any issues until now. We were in room 2033 which had so many issues. The dryer had to run about 5 times just to get a small load dry, the microwave was broken with the broken piece sitting next to it, dirty dishes in the cabinet, towel rack in master bath was broken and just placed on the countertop in the bathroom, the blind was taped up in one of the bedrooms where it was broken and placed back up, master bedroom smelled really bad like mildew which lingered through the entire condo, there were no frying pans and after calling and begging them to send one so I can cook they finally came our 3rd day there and dropped one off. We also didn't get our parking passes and pool passes until being there for 36 hours and told we were not allowed in the pool area without them even if we were waiting for Laketown to bring them to our room. I don't want to forget that we had no wash clothes at all in the room. I called and was told to go to Walmart and buy some b/c the hotel is probably short on wash clothes. There were no comforters at all in the room, but their were 5 small covers in a unit that sleeps 10. We had to go to Walmart and buy a few covers just so that all the kids had something to cover up with. What made this stay even worse is that Laketown had a problem with their fire alarm system and every single day we stayed there we were woke up by a fire alarm system that had sirens going in every room and an intercom telling you to get out and don't use the elevator (20th floor) .. The first day we gathered all 8 kids and went down 20 flights of steps at 553am just to find out that it was a false alarm and that this had been happening and will probably continue to happen 🤦‍♀️ Just overall horrible stay in a horrible room. Someone needs to go in that room and actually clean it good. Carpets need cleaned bad. There is still tape on the ceiling from someone probably having a bday party and taping the streamers up. No telling how long that has been there. As much that is being charged for these units you would think they would be clean and nice and not smell like mildew.

RUN DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THIS PLACE. Stayed at the Laketown warf and it was the worst experience! Emerald view has poor customer service. Their description of the rooms are very deceiving. We had 6 people with us and only had 1 sofa and 1 chair. No blankets for the beds! I emailed them and got no where. I told them how disappointed I was in this room and their response was “I understand” next I’ll do a Yelp review and a review for the actual condo.

I am very unsatisfied with my stay at Emerald View Resorts today. Right now I am sitting in my car with my mother who has a terminal illness waiting on a room that is not ready. I booked the room and was emailed a notification that my credit card was declined. When I called the bank they said the payment was being processed. After calling the resort they said that the room was paid in full. An hour later I got a voicemail saying I owed another $800 dollars. When I called the resort they said someone made another error. I’m tired of this resort and I haven’t gotten a room yet after paying $1100 for only 2 nights and they refused any early check in or late check out. There is no manager to talk to and the lady at the reservation office was very rude saying that they were super busy with 200 check outs and I should just find something to do because they have til 6pm to get the room ready. I am disgusted and my mom was very uncomfortable during the wait. I will not stay here again and do not recommend it.
