I have the Emerald Outback a number of times. Trails are for hiking and biking. Approx. 8 miles of trails at the top of Beech Mt. There are a lot of tree roots and rocks so keep in mind for hiking and biking. There is gravel parking at the head of the trails. There is also a picnic table and a portajohn. The trails are well blazed so easy to get around. Just take a picture of the map before you set out. These trails are usually fairly dry. It is also usually very windy. We visited on a day right after heavy, overnight rain and only encountered a few muddy areas.
Great hiking with a stunning view at the end. Very well sign posted. Lots of opportunities to bail out via the Bailout signage. Relatively easy trails that all seem to intertwine.
Absolutely loved these trails. It was like an enchanted forest. Must do! Trails are all very well marked. Easy hikes. Just beautiful.
Trails right in the heart of nature with undisturbed beauty. Truly amazing. We’ve tried several of these and enjoyed them all. Yellow trail has really stunning views. Pictures posted are from that trail mainly.
Amazing set of trails, great overlooks, good to "roll your own" hike setup. A little hard to find, do not trust The Google.
The section of this trail that I took my dogs on a walk on was really easy and it was really beautiful.
Used the trails to hike, very well groomed and easy to follow. Not very long and only some slight hills, if you're used to walking you can easily do them. Only problem I had was they weren't long enough for me.
Only a couple of good views as well.

Had such an amazing time shooting this wedding at the Beech Mountain Club. Everyone that works there is so kind and treated my team and I with respect. The backdrop that you will get if you shoot your special day here, is second to none. Beautiful
This review specifically is about the sunset dinner event I attended. It's the first year Beech has offered a sunset "fine dining" experience. They have some kinks to work out but I still 100% recommend.
