My husband and I stayed here for a work event last June, so when we planned our 25th anniversary weekend, we were excited to come back. Sadly this stay was not what we expected. We booked the *Presidential Suite* , which was not ready for check in till almost 4:30, putting us on a tight schedule to make it to our 6 o’clock dinner reservation. We got there at 3pm to check on an early check in , and I inquired about the pet policy, the clerk informed me yes the pet deposit is $75 non refundable (which I saw online) but that pets can not be left in the room alone, which is NOT specified online. We were 4 hours from home, with multiple plans to go out for dinner and a train ride on Saturday, and now we were in what seemed like an impossible situation. I quickly (and anxiously) googled for local pet boarding. I found one, and was told they could take my fur baby, if her vaccinations were up to date. No problem! Except I’ve never had to have a canine flu shot, so then I had to find a clinic that might be able to give her that one shot….. got lucky and found one nearby. Got the shot, got to the boarding facility, and back to the hotel to check in at 4. Finally got in the room at 4:30. After dinner, we planned on a relaxing soak in the whirlpool tub, it took almost 2 HOURS to get enough water in the tub to cover the jets! The bed was too firm, we slept poorly. Breakfast was good though. After our train ride we decided to pick up our pup and go home early! For the price of the room, I expected better. Over all we like the hotel, but there is much room for improvement. The pet policy needs to be stated clearly on the website , we would have made other arrangements with someone back at home. The stress and panic it caused for us on arrival was completely unnecessary. Our loss was a plus for the hotel though, as I was checking out early, another family checking in was in need of the extra suite, and voila! , they offered up ours before i was even done with the attendant….. they’d only have to wait an hour for it to be cleaned and ready to go! While I like the hotel, I would discourage anyone from thinking the presidential suite was worth the extra cost, sure it’s roomy, but it’s not that great.

Truthfully my husband and I love to stay here. This was one of my favorite stays as I was able to soak in the hot tub (WELL THAT IS NO LONGER AN OPTION AS IT IS FILLED IN AND TILED OVER.) We stay at Hilton properties across the states often at minimum twice monthly anywhere from two nights to two weeks. As for the sauna I assume will not be opening back up as I was told it is closed for the foreseeable future. This is a huge disappointment for a hotel that is such a pleasure to stay at with such a friendly atmosphere and staff.

This was a great stay!! It was a girls night with my friends and we really enjoyed the two room suite that we had. It was very clean inside the room and the virtual assistant on the phone was very cool. There were some chips scattered where someone had spilled a bag about right outside our room, but it didn’t bother us too much. The service was very good and breakfast was good too!

This hotel adopts a convention center style, featuring a captivating open atrium design and elevators that offer a scenic journey to the top floors. The breakfast served each morning is consistently impeccable, adding a delightful touch to the stay. While some amenities may reflect a slightly older style, the overall experience is nothing short of fantastic. The unique combination of architectural charm and excellent breakfast makes for a memorable and enjoyable stay.

This hotel is more like an experience. I really loved that there was a little store, restaurant, and spa right there inside the hotel. It's your one-stop shop, which is great for people like me who like to get to your hotel first, then figure out dinner. I ordered room service (chicken sandwich, onion rings, and pimento cheese dip). Housekeeping showed up at 8 am. and couldn't understand me when I asked them to return after checkout. The walls were thin between the rooms. I could hear the person on the other side talking on the phone.

This hotel had the absolute worst service we have ever had at a hotel, including hotels much less expensive. They do not clean your room during your stay, do not even make your bed, even after requests to do so. No hot water for showers. We had to ask for cups for coffee and get our own tea for the room because the tea not replenished. Needless to say, rooms were not clean, buffet lines long in the morning because they had a convention of middle school kids that filled the entire place. Food mediocre. Our room was by the elevator so very loud. After multiple complaints, nothing changed and they did nothing to make this right. Do not waste your money on this place it is absolutely not worth it.

This hotel is very shady. I was staying for a business conference with my employer. On the 1st day someone came in my room and stole a bracelet off the bathroom vanity. I immediately notified the manager of the situation when I returned to my room. She acted as if they were going to investigate with housekeeping and let me know something the next morning. The next day I never received communication so I returned to the same manager who told me they were running report for my room to see who had entered during the time frame I gave. She said housekeeping did not know anything about a bracelet. She again said she would get back to me. The next morning I went to the desk and asked and the staff was not even aware of the report. I gave them all of the info again even told them who I had contact with and emailed pic of item to, and she assured me that someone would get back with me. Later in the day, I was told again that housekeeping didn't know anything and was given a card to contact guest services. I left message and it was not returned. I ended up filing a police report. The officer said that basically the hotel told him they didn't believe the housekeeper stole it and had no plan to do anything. So now they not only stole from me, but now they offended me! My employer was paying a lot of money to hold this conference and they have no respect for the guests! The bracelet that was stolen was actually a service award I received for my 20 yrs of service with my company, so the item had meaning to me. They absolutely don't care. What a shame! They took the side of their shady staff and gave me the run around because they said they trust their staff. Well, my employer trusted this establishment and it robbed one of their employees that truly has proven to be trustworthy and committed, and better yet, robbed me of an item that meant something and was a gift from the company paying them to stay there. Beware and read reviews because they have a habit of taking things and denying and giving people the run around.

We had a large group with 4 soccer teams book and stay for a rainy weekend. The service was better than expected and we would certainly book again if we are in town. Breakfast was great, but I'm a sucker for omelet bars. Rooms were a bit dated but comfortable and well stocked.

Clean rooms. Great staff. Comfortable beds. Great breakfast. My only complaint would be some traffic noise. It was a Saturday night and it's a busy area. That was no longer a problem once the traffic died down. I would definitely stay here again.
