The hotel was nice and the rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and greeted me as I walked in. The front desk person was engaging and gave us good suggestions on local dining. There was complimentary breakfast and drinks in the afternoon. If you're traveling and need to get a workout in it'll do in a pinch but don't expect anything, dumbbells missing from the rack, the flat bench vinyl needs replacement, cracked. They have one basic cable machine and several older pieces of cardio equipment. Parking is $30 a day.

I recently attended a manager’s reception at Embassy Suites Winston-Salem, and I just had to give a shoutout to Chef Robert and the bar crew. Chef Robert’s dishes were amazing—flavorful and artfully presented. The bar team was fantastic too, mixing up great cocktails and giving spot-on recommendations with a friendly attitude. They all made the event really enjoyable and memorable. Thanks so much to Chef Robert and the bar crew for the top-notch service!

The staff at this hotel truly makes it a great experience. JB at dinner and Brian at breakfast are amazing cooks, the food is cooked with so much love that I can literally taste it! I wish the kitchen had lunch hours and I would eat all 3 meals here. Terrell at the front desk took such care of me, he even reminded me that I had Amazon packages delivered. He is patient, caring and knowledgeable. Brandon was incredibly friendly and helpful to me. I spoke with him about something and he immediately jumped into action. Shane was able to quickly and efficiently get me checked into a room when I arrived a bit before check in time. Megan was so sweet and caring as well, I had a short interaction with her but it was positive and had a positive impact on my stay. SP was an amazing bartender and despite happy hour being busy he showed everyone love and appreciation. You can tell he likes what he does. The staff at this hotel did not miss a beat. I felt so welcome and at home here.

For a Hilton property I expect so much more. The location is great, the rooms need renovation the carpets need to be replaced. The smell from the hallways to the rooms is horrible smells like year of cigarette smoke. One person stands out from the rest the cook Robert. During the managers reception he was outstanding. I found out after my order was placed they ran out of chicken wings. Robert came out explained the issue asked if he could replace my wings. Robert recommended other options he was kind and patient. Robert checked back with me to ensure I was happy with my meal. He deserves recognition!!

Chef Robert was excellent! Chef Robert prepared the tastiest lemon pepper wings that were seasoned and prepared to perfection. He has a wonderful personality and captures our attention as well as our taste buds! He is one of a kind! I look forward to our convention next year just for Chef Robert!

Positive: Even though I did not have breakfast, I was there three days, but everybody raved about the breakfast, OK and the food at the hotel was OK Negative: Very disappointed with the room all furniture wore. Carpet on the floor May have seen better times the TV in one room didn?t work reported to the desk. No one came to fix it. Icemaker in the hallway didn?t work. The Room smell of smoke smell

I've stayed here several times. This is an OK hotel on balance, but there are some caveats. The location is great. It's right in the middle of downtown, across the street from the Stevens Center, so super convenient to see the Nutcracker. It's also really close to the convention center. However, the rooms, furniture and carpeting are pretty dated. Sometimes the breakfast gets super crowded. The elevator can be slow. It can also seem a little sketchy at night because there are quite a few homeless people who hang around nearby. On the plus side, the rooms are really big and can accommodate a family. I've always had a good experience with the staff despite other reviews. Now that I've stayed at different hotels in the area, I would more likely choose another one over this one, but it's not bad.

The hospitality upon entering was amazing, the managers reception was an exceptional experience because of Chef Robert! He was very attentive and accommodating he made sure we were well taken care of and provided individualized service ensuring our food was hot and fresh! Thanks Chef Robert!
