Embassy Suites by Hilton Waikiki Beach Walk - Hotel in Honolulu - 201 Beach Walk, USA

Great place to stay with the family. Location was very convenient for the beach, shopping and restaurants. Large pool (though could be deeper) with heaps of seating around it. We chose this place (besides what I’ve already mentioned) because of the large spacious suites - we got a two bedroom, the included wifi which has great reception, the included breakfast, and the two hour snacks and happy hour in the afternoon. Everything is a flat walk from the hotel, and the ABC store across the road is handy. Would definitely stay here again!

There are many things to like about the Embassy Suites Waikiki Beach - with a few areas for potential improvement.||What I liked:|This is one of a few hotel options in Waikiki that has "standard rooms/suites" that can comfortably accommodate larger families, as is the case with most Embassy suites. The Embassy Suites is nicely located near what I consider to be the main Waikiki beach area - with all the main sights within walking distance. Nearby dining options are plentiful and there is always something going on in the shopping area next to the hotel. The complimentary breakfast is amazing - and they know how to cater to a large breakfast crowd that may all show up at the same time. Also, nice evening reception for all guests, with a bit of a "skip the line" system for Diamond guests. The assigned room was large enough to accommodate our group comfortably, and the room was prepared as requested. At first, I thought I was "downgraded" to a low floor, but quickly realized the advantage of being on the same floor as the pool and the breakfast area - so from that perspective, nice room assignment, even though I did not get commanding views from this lower floor room (and balcony)||What to watch for/could be improved|Even though I am convinced that room housekeeping is kept to a high standard, there are some limitations when it comes to moisture and carpets. My allergies went into high gear while in the room - and frankly the decor and amenities could use a bit of an update or remodel... so yes, the main rooms are, in my opinion, a bit dated, but this is not uncommon in Waikiki. Front desk service was also quite uneven... sometimes meeting some very friendly employees... and sometimes... not so much||All in, this is a good hotel which offers families a decent place to stay at what is usually a reasonable price, by Waikiki standards. There are likely a few more modern or remodeled options - but not necessarily that many that would have all the amenities offered by the Embassy Suites

This hotel was better than I expected. I had a great time. I wish they would check the amenities, even though cleaning is fine once every three days. The shampoo bottle was empty. I told the front desk and they replaced it right away. The front desk staff was very kind, cheerful, and comfortable. I would like to stay here again next time I'm in Hawaii. Nice room. Excellent

Last month my wife and I stayed at this Embassy Suites in Waikiki for two nights. The staff was was helpful, the room, breakfast, happy hour and pool were all good. Just two blocks from the beach. Walk outside and you’ll see plenty of shops, restaurants and of course ABC stores. We were on the 19th floor and had a magnificent view. The only negative was the elevators were slow. We were happy we chose this hotel and would gladly stay here again.

This was my second time staying at the hotel. The room was spacious and very clean. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I wanted o personally recognize my housekeeper, Angela. I saw her on a daily basis and she greeted me and aksed if there was anything I needed. She was great! The breakfast was very tasty. I am looking forward ro staying there againg on my next trip to Hawaii.

I recently had my first trip with my family . We’re a family of 3 including a toddler . We booked our stay for a total of 8 days. The day we arrived we were greeted by the valet with a smile and an aloha ! We did arrive about 40 minutes before check in but front desk was able to accommodate us and give us our room. The room was perfect for the 3 of us. Housekeeping always kept the room clean for us ( traveling with a toddler can get messy ). Valet was always super nice and always greeted us . The 50$ a day for parking wasn’t an issue because of how smooth Valet runs. We never waited more than 5 minutes for our car, even during rush hours. Breakfast was very good as well ! It changes up every day but usually consists of traditional American breakfast, fruits , & cereal & drinks. In the afternoon they have light snacks & complimentary drinks . Me and my husband don’t drink so we were never really around for the that . The one day we were , we tried the chips and salsa with veggies and they were good as well. The swimming pool isn’t huge but it’s a great size for kids. My 2 year old loved it. The kids pool is about a 1 feet deep and the other side goes up to about 4 feet deep. The pool noodles were my sons fav! Every single employee we encountered was the nicest , always offering a helping hand, smiling , & wishing us a good vacation. The location of the hotel is perfect . Right in the middle of Waikiki, about a 5 minute walk to the beach , surrounded by shopping centers and restaurants. If I had one issue it was probably the elevators. Sometimes they took a while . We noticed that for about 2 days, 1 of the 3 elevators were down so it caused some traffic . Other than that , we loved it ! Great hotel & awesome employees. Also wanted to add that the employee that checked us in gifted us a box of chocolates for our sons birthday !!

We just spent 7 nights here with our 2 teenage sons. We chose this hotel due to the location, being able to get a suite, the free breakfast and the evening reception was a nice perk. It worked out great for our family... the hotel isn't fancy but great for families. I probably wouldn't stay here if it was just my husband and me. I thought we may attend the evening reception a few times but we headed up going to it 6 out of the 7 nights we were there... it was just something to do before ending our night. It goes from 530p-730p and adults get 2 drink tickets per night and they also have soda. The snacks weren't anything special but it was something(chips and salsa, veggies and dips etc.) And they always had someone playing live music. Yes the breakfast is busy and they could use more elevators... you just have to be patient. I'm happy we stayed here... plus not having to go out to eat for breakfast daily is really nice.

It’s been 5 years since we last stayed at this hotel, and this is my third time here. It always makes us so happy to feel the Aloha spirit from all the staff members. Additionally, this hotel is located in one of the most convenient places in Waikiki. However, we did encounter a few issues, which I’ll explain below. Even with these issues, we will return, as we are still very satisfied with the friendly staff, excellent breakfast service, and overall good reception. Regarding the issues: The housekeeping quality has decreased, and we also had some problems with ants. The cleaning quality was a bit disappointing. When we checked into the room, we found French fries next to the refrigerator, used coffee beans inside the coffee maker, greasy fingerprints on the mini bar, and a used towel on the bottom shelf under the washstand. I remember being very impressed with the cleanliness during our previous stays, and I hope this can be improved again. As for the ants, this was our first time staying in the Hula Tower, and unfortunately, we experienced an ant problem, which we didn’t encounter during our stays at the Aloha Tower. The front desk staff were very helpful when we reported the issue and offered to spray for bugs, but we declined due to concerns about the smell and the hassle of moving our belongings. We have visited Hawaii many times, stayed at various hotels and condos, and even lived here long time. We believe this is the best hotel in Waikiki. We hope the issues we faced this time will be resolved when we return in the future!
