Embassy Suites by Hilton Omaha La Vista Hotel & Conference Center - Hotel in La Vista - 12520 Westport Pkwy, USA

There was a wind storm in Omaha at the beginning of August, and our house lost power for a week. My wife and I were able to get a room for a few of the nights. The staff was very friendly, and the room was nice and clean. Most importantly, it had working air conditioning! But I can't thank this Embassy enough. They were there for us when we were in need, and made us feel at home. Thanks to everyone who helped to make our stay as good as possible given the circumstances!

I stayed here for a conference of a youth group I participate in. There were over 1200 attendees the majority were teenagers. They did a really good job in the beginning or so I thought. The first day we were there I stopped housekeeping and asked if they would like to clean daily or if they would like us to gather the garbage at the end of our stay and leave it. They said gather and they would collect at end of stay would be easier. We did that, gathered all the trash like we always do at EVERY other hotel we stay in twice a year with this group and left. They charged me a cleaning fee for leaving the trash. Not sure how this hotel can be the only Hilton chain that has different requirements and how I can be charged when I did what their housekeeper said to do. I wouldn’t be as annoyed by it if we didn’t stay two times a year for almost 10 years now and I have never in the entire time been charged for a cleaning fee.Absolutely ridiculous

We were surprised by the parking fee since this wasn't a downtown hotel. We thought the manager's reception went until 7:30 and we were disappointed when we couldn't partake after our 7:10pm arrival. Snacks were not in our premium room so we called the front desk; they requested we come down to pick them up. The room was quiet. The pool had some mustard algae and cloudy water but there were lots of kids using it. No hot tub at this location. We really enjoyed our large suite room and the breakfast was amazing. We loved the variety of fresh fruit options, made to order omelets, and chocolate chip pancakes. The glass elevator and water streams in the lobby were beautiful. The bedding was very comfortable and superior to other Hilton hotels.

Really clean and organized. I was on the 6th floor with a great view overlooking the entire parking lot. Rooms were comfortable with very little to no noise coming from the outside. Restroom was very spacious, shower was big and roomy, beds were really comfortable and I loved how they had a working desk station. I loved the lobby that had a waterfall and fireplace. The inside coffee shop had some great drinks and sold great personal hygiene items.

These rooms are DISGUSTING. The carpet was so gross, I needed to wear shoes at all times. The ice bucket had some sticky jelly on it and it was like every surface had something on it. This place either needs renovations or a deep deep clean. The layout was nice and our kid enjoyed his stay but the staff working the front desk (with the exception of the gentlemen with red hair, bartender, and omelet guy) were not so friendly. Our sink was stopped up and so my husband had to ask maintenance for a plunger and screwdriver to fix it himself. It says quiet hours at 9 but it was midnight and the lobby was so so loud that my son couldn’t sleep. They need to do better in managing that. This place needs some work in the rooms as well as customer service.

I booked a nonrefundable rate, so that piece was on me. My itinerary changed two weeks out, so I tried to see if I could carry the booking forward to a future stay, which would have allowed them to open the room back up for a different guest and not lost money. Management refused to speak with me directly. I got shuffled to a Hilton contact center who told me that only the hotel staff could make changes. They transferred me back to the hotel's office who told me I needed to work with the vendor I booked it through (I booked it through Hilton's website) and then transferred me to a voicemail. I left a voicemail, and the contact center called me back the next business day saying I needed to reach out to the hotel's office. I explained that I had already been bounced back and forth between them and the hotel office, so the contact representative reached out to the hotel on my behalf. Hotel management still refused to speak directly to me, so over the course of 40 minutes, the contact representative relayed messages back and forth. The hotel management refused to do anything. I ended up going out of my way to stay there, so I wouldn't lose my money. The rooms are big but certainly dated. My room also wasn't thoroughly cleaned, which was evident by the Cheetos on the carpet. The lobby area is beautiful and the staff that I did interact with were great. Those are the only reasons I'm not giving a worse review. The Hilton contact center was also great to work with.

This is my second time staying at this hotel for a dance competition/convention, and I have had a very enjoyable experience. I appreciate the snacks provided to me as a Hilton Honors member. The location is convenient, with easy access to Starbucks, Jersey Mike's, Dirty Dough (similar to Crumble), and other establishments. The bathrooms and rooms are spacious and comfortable. My only concern is that the beds seem to be full-size rather than queen-size. Overall, I have had a pleasant experience.

I stayed here two years ago and then again in August 2024. The property is showing signs of wear and poor maintenance. Musty smelling rooms, ad hoc repairs (e.g., a shower handle with a rusty replacement screw). The kitchen staff was great and the breakfast met an Embassy Suite standard. The front desk staff was inconsistent.
