Embassy Suites by Hilton Los Angeles Glendale - Hotel in Glendale - 800 N Central Ave, USA

We had a wonderful stay at this Embassy Suites. Conveniently located near a freeway. This was helpful for families going to local attractions like Universal Studios. The check in process was flawless. The morning breakfast was great and the staff was friendly. The rooms are a bit dated, but clean and the mattress was very comfortable. It looks like they are getting ready for renovations. During our stay we saw a lot of new rolls of new carpeting being brought onto the property.

I don’t usually write reviews but wanted to warn others before they book this “Hilton” hotel. Rooms are super dated and cramped. Bathroom fixtures were all rusty and falling apart. Bathroom tiles loose and just laying on the floor. Couldn’t believe this was an embassy suites/ Hilton! Double beds were small and uncomfortable. Worst 2 days worth of sleep all year. Only redeeming thing about this place was the breakfast. Definitely didn’t live up to its name and you don’t get free WiFi or parking. Evening reception means trail mix and cheese squares. Very disappointing. Couldn’t wait to check out. Also, small pool was super cloudy. Never seen a pool you can see through before. Yikes. Needs updating. Can’t believe Hilton puts its name on this hotel. This is like motel 6 quality.

We really enjoyed our 5-night stay here. Our room was fine (other than low shower pressure in our room). We really like the living room area and having two TVs. Nice room. This hotel has as good of breakfast as any we have stayed at. The omelette station is a hit and the friendly cook makes them fast. Good food and even good coffee which was a bonus. Parking is handy and easy to get in and out of the garage. Very nice lobby and friendly service. We will stay here again on our next visit to Los Angeles.

Throughout my whole week stay the best thing I can say about this place is the area surrounding the hotel, no matter how many times I call front desk or room service I get no response and when I did ask to speak to the supervisor she was a Hispanic lady who was just rude and simply did not care for my stay and didn’t offer any help what so ever. I have a family of four and they haven’t came to our room once to check on it I’ve had the same piles of trash in my room since my first day. I even tried leaving it outside my room if that would even help but no same piles still there. I’ve had to ask random workers in the hallways for toilet paper and even just extra towels. So at the end of this review id honestly suggest booking a much cheaper hotel because they will provide the basic clean service that’s expected of a hotel.

We'd stayed one night a week ago, April the 7th we liked the cleanliness, the front desk guys where very nice and helped us with changing rooms due a minor issue. The evening happy hour was nice, the snacks can be a little bit better but the drinks where great! Breakfast was great as well. In general it's a perfect option for one or two nights the most, because although the room was very clean, the hotel in general need a good update, the curtains in the room are nasty! They need to be replaced, and the carpets and some furniture need an update as well. The pool was nice but the hot tub water was yellow! Hopefully the upper management would want to update these things, because it's a beautiful building with an amazing lobby and common areas We will definitely stay there again in the future, because of the great customer service and we hope to see the improvements. We stayed here a week while serving at the Los Angeles Dream Center. The location was perfect. Great part of town. Restaurants close by. Their breakfast in the morning was great with an omelet bar. Rooms were clean! We will definitely go back!

We had a great experience at this hotel. We booked 2 nights because we were not sure what we were going to walk into but ended up booking a total of 5 nights because the hotel was very clean. The staff, Tony, Ryan and the overnight staff (M-T trying to remember his name) were very professional, very kind and always ready to assist. I had water in my room and Tony immediately changed my room. The breakfast team was very organized and served fresh breakfast every morning. My family and I are very particular about clean hotels. So this was perfect for us. We didn't have the time to eat This hotel is about 15-20 minutes from Universal studio, very close to Hollywood Blvd, Santa Monica etc....you name it. We got a mountain view and it was so beautiful to look at every morning and evening. The one concern I have are the windows, they need some cleaning. I would definitely stay here again.

It is a good hotel if you are staying there to sleep only. It is always my first choice when I go to universal studios. It has a good breakfast, but I hope they add halal protein or vegetarian protein, because a lot of people don't eat pork, unfortunately they gave pork protein only next to the egg, which is people with egg allergies can't have too. But they gave other options like cheese and bagels, fruit, cake and cereal. The coffee was great actually :) Also the 1 bedroom suite is good for 4 people and has a good space. I hope in the future they remodel the rooms because the furniture is old. The pool is 3 feel only from all sides so good for kids but small for teenagers :).
