Looks like Hilton brand is going down!! We are visiting a Hilton property in Flagstaff, AZ. Our plan was to spend the Labor Day weekend in Flagstaff and I have been a loyal Hilton Diamond member for few years now. I booked a two double bed one bedroom. But this property gave me a super frustrating experience. Firstly, the phone in the bedroom is broken. The phone in the living area doesn’t work at all. For every question or ask to the front desk, I need to walk over to them. When I told them about the phone, they said they will *TRY* to fix it. Secondly, the bathroom didn’t have any toiletries. The only thing I saw was a Head and Shoulders shampoo. Really? I expect a Head and Shoulders shampoo in a premium branded hotel? When I went to the front desk, they were not surprised. They said sometimes they mix it up and put it in some rooms. But where is the conditioner? They just said sorry. Then I asked them if they can offer me a shampoo & conditioner, after which they gave a brand Zero shampoo and conditioner. The room is not very clean either. To add to all dismay, we saw a centipede on the wall. I’m very disappointed for how the hotel is and how the front desk is trying to defend. I would definitely NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.

Booked this hotel weeks in advance and are Hilton Diamond members. After a weary day of traveling arrived around 5:30 pm. Friendly reception said we were given last room and sorry but it wasn’t an updated room. We thought how bad could it be. The room was old with worn carpet and worn furniture and smelled. It was extremely dark and it was hot in the room. We waited about an hour hoping room would cool down then asked reception to have someone look at a/c. We were told no one available. We then asked for fans and told no fans. It was so uncomfortable we could not stay. We left and moved to hotel down the street. This hotel needs to refurbish all rooms or the very least have working A/C or don’t rent those rooms. It is not up to any Hilton caliber.

If you're expecting the "typical" Hilton Embassy Suites (as I did), you'll be very disappointed (as we were). Looks like Hilton bought this place for a very good price with the intention of turning this into a "normal" Embassy Suites but ran out of funds. The immediate word that comes to mind is BLAH and never again. We were in room 228 and had a blue light behind the headboard of the bed which I thought was pretty cool until I found out that there was no way to turn it off. When looking for a switch I found out it was a very bright light, but they put blue painters' tape over the light to turn it blue versus white. Not an issue until I found out I couldn't turn it off so the first night of trying to sleep was unsuccessful. The second night the front desk sent me an extra blanket to put over it...this was their way of fixing the problem. The front desk said that room has an electrical issue, and they seem fine that it will never shut off. Breakfast the first day the omelet station was down and breakfast was about a 2/10 at best. The eggs they put out was VERY cold, they threw a pound of cheese on there but never melted. Overall, there's plenty of other Hilton properties in Flagstaff...I would recommend one of them. The only positive I can point out is the bed was very comfortable and in a good location. Very disappointed to say the least.

As others have mentioned, the whole place is old and in need of renovations. As far as our room, the beds were made and clean which is the most important thing. However there was a lot of hair in the bathroom. Not like one stray hair..it looked like someone gave themselves a haircut in the bathtub and it wasn't cleaned? The bathroom floor was not swept or mopped. The breakfast was good and my kids really enjoyed the pool. I'd say the location of the hotel was also very good.

This is not our first time staying at an Embassy Suites, however this hotel did not meet up to the Embassy Suite standard we are used to. At first, we thought the hotel is designed to be rustic, but no, it’s just old and needs a renovation. The staff are very kind and the breakfast was great, but the hotel could be benefited from a renovation. The toilet seats are way too low to the ground, no walk in showers, and the room smelt very old. We requested a fitted sheet for the sofa bed, and it took 4 hours for a delivery after reminding them. The front desk lady did say she was the only one there and would get it to us quickly, which was no problem, just something to keep in mind. The room is also very dark and dim, only 1 main light, and then 2 lamps in the living room and 2 in the bedroom. If you get a room on the first floor, everyone in the pool area will be able to see you as there is no sheer curtain, and it did appear that they were removed. Also dust everywhere. The carpeting in the room did not appear to have any padding underneath, as it was hard and felt cold. Tried the elevator, and it sounded like it was about to break. From the outside appearance, the hotel has outgrown weeds, broken fences, and doesn’t look appealing. The breakfast was excellent, and the lady working there was working hard to make the omelette and it tasted great. This hotel definitely does not meet up to other Embassy Suites that we have stayed at and we will not be returning, unless they decide to renovate the property. Waste of money.

I stayed there to rest my head for the night, while on the road. It did the job. The bed was clean and comfy. However, this hotel is not well maintained and not up to the Hilton ES standard. The rustic lodge look is tired and carpet is frayed, furniture is worn, and doors and furniture are severely banged up. The room overall, wasn't clean. The mini fridge had dead fruit flies, the coffee table had dried food on the ledges, the lotion dispenser pump was dirty, and the room was dusty.

We neglected to read the reviews beforehand, relying on brand loyalty. But Hilton should remove this hotel from their "embassy suites" family of hotels. Yes, the rooms are configured as suites--but the quality one expects from the brand is missing. Breakfast very poor (omelette bar either not staffed or overwhelmed, foam bowls and plastic cutlery, not enough space). The hotel is tired and outdated. On our floor the ice machine was pulled out and nothing in its place. Housekeeping never arrived during our two-day stay. The two rooms were so cramped that we couldn't set up the luggage stand, which turned out not to be a problem as the stand fell apart due to a missing screw.

Room was hot and had thermostat set at 70 degrees and did not cool down room at all had windows open as much as they would to tey to cool down and didn't till late in night and called for a fan and did not have any fans. Beds hard as a rock. Wake up at 5am to get going and shower and no hot water at all. The spout in tub is broken had to hold it to pull tab to get shower working. Booked for weekend and will be checking out before my stay ends. Was told manager would be in around 6-7 and no one is here. Look for a another hotel. Only good thing was the breakfast then after Saturday events room still hot maintenance tried again no luck ask for another room and was told they were booked out let's see if I get a call. So adding to this post, where did 2 days to call Back to get this figured out Manager was not available, left my phone number at 1pm And never received a call back Pay a little over $600 for a weekend. And dealing with this, I will never use a Hilton or a embassy suite again. I am expecting nothing. In return from this company Update Call following up with their response. The manager was walking with fair general manager and never received a call back. Left my phone number when I check out. Also called The other day there's still no phone call how to try to find a different way To get a resolution, no point paying six hundred dollars For a room that does not work.

Maybe the best chain hotel in town. Walk a couple of blocks to plenty of places to eat, drink and shop. Beautiful, clean, spacious and light rooms. Nice breakfast, with friendly staff there and at check in. Upgraded to a corner suite.

I was pleasantly surprised! The lobby was lodge-y themed with a large wood-burning fireplace. Front desk was very helpful. The room was spacious (2 queens and pullout couch) and included a coffee bar area with Keurig, fridge, microwave, and safe tuck

I won a bet with my buddy about who had the best burrito in town. I made him eat an El Mayor from Tres Amigos. He looked me dead in the eyes and said: "you win".
