Embassy Suites by Hilton Detroit Metro Airport - Hotel in Romulus - 8600 Wickham Rd, USA

Embassy Suites is one of my favorite places to stay no matter where they are. This one was nice. The free breakfast is always good with made to order omelets and pancakes. You can get scrambled eggs already made and there’s usually a good choice of meats pork and turkey sausage and bacon. Then there’s happy hour with two free drinks. I was here during the Holidays and the lobby was very nicely decorated

Great place to stay near DTW for those in the Hilton program, and even if you're not. It has the usual Embassy Suites quality. We had a clean and spacious room for two nights in December 2023. Although they have the free drink happy hour, we didn't go to it. We did, however, do breakfast. I like their cook to order eggs and other items. No crowd and plenty of breakfast seating. My only negative comment would be the morning shuttle to the airport. The shuttle shot through the drive so quickly, he didn't stop to pick us up. Not even the second trip through the entry way. Finally had him stop on the "third" try. I wasn't late for my trip time, but just not what I expect from Embassy Suites/Hilton quality. Front desk staff were exceptional. Will stay again when in DTW.

Wonderful place to spend the night! Rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean. Staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. We loved the free cocktail or soft drink tickets. Fabulous breakfast buffet! Fresh made to order omelettes, bacon, sausage, potatoes, fresh fruit, mmmm. I do wish they had hot chocolate as a hot beverage offering, but that was my only complaint. I recommend staying here!

We travelled with a group of 40 and had the best stay at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Detroit Metro Airport. All staff were warm and welcoming and attentive to our needs. The rooms were big and very clean and comfortable. The lobby area was a great meet up point for our group. Evening Reception was fun with drinks and snacks provided. They offered the best breakfast. Greasy omelettes prepared and the buffet food was hot and replenished often. Again the staff were super friendly! We will be back!

Great value. For the money, for a family, we were pleased. The complimentary happy hour with snacks and drinks was a nice addition, great complimentary breakfast.|-Room was very clean and nicely renovated (still smelled like new paint and carpet!), though some things were missed; big square hole in wall next to vent near ceiling. Beds were comfortable. Pillows not great.|-Pool was dirty, which was disappointing. To be fair, indoor/outdoor pools are challenging to keep leaves and debris out, but would have been nice to see someone cleaning it. |-Dining chairs at tables in lobby are in need of replacement. |-We were charged $20 for a movie we didn't rent. At the time of this review, after contacting Hilton, it looks like that charge is being returned.|We were in town for global entry interviews at DTW. Proximity to airport was great. Spent one night.

Was here for a very short stay, but had to write a review. Room was clean and well appointed - especially for an airport location. Airport shuttle was prompt and the driver was helpful. During our trip, we unfortunately had a car breakdown. The hotel was incredible about it. Toya simply went above and beyond and reminded me of how great customer service can be. Her flexibility and desire to help turned what could have been a sore spot of our trip into almost a fun memory. The best employee interaction I've ever had at a hotel. Truly excellent!

Everything was great. Shuttle from the airport was clearly marked and came within minutes of landing. The hotel was just a few miles from the airport. I forgot my toiletries and the front desk had a nice supply to get me going. Shuttle took us back to the a/p in the AM for our rental car. Breakfast was amazing! A+++++++++

Good upgraded airport hotel. AC was very noisy in 334 so had to turn it off to sleep. Pool looked nice and would bring my suit next time. Cooked too order breakfast omelet was great!
