Embassy Suites by Hilton Colorado Springs - Featured Reviews (2050)
I loved the hotel. I would have given it 5 stars but I just couldn't. Being that I'm disabled and the only rooms left were disabled which was a good thing for me there was no disability parking left not one day out of the five days we were there we had walk up the hill. my husband has a hard time too but thankfully he did drop me off at the door they're just isn't enough parking at all. The room was super hot no matter how you tried to cool it it just wouldn't cool down but the atrium was freezing. And the food constantly ran out we ended up going out too eat for breakfast a couple days which defeats the purpose. Now for the good. The hotel is beautiful the people are nice very courteous. The pool was nice and warm not overly cold and the hot tub was an amazing treat. We had plenty of space to move around in the room which was comfortable one of the most. Comfortable beds I've slept in until builders were being noisy which I expected but not at 8am just me..
An Antarctic organization I am a member of had our reunion at the hotel. One surprise I had was that it was a few miles from the airport thus the Uber ride was a bit pricy. The ES is situated with several other large hotels so there must be a reason for its location. ||The check in was very easy and the staff were helpful and friendly. I received the room I had requested a second-floor king bed. The room was well set up with refrigerator, microwave, safe and a good bathroom with shower and tub. It was a suite with separate bedroom and room to entertain in the living room. The room was a bit dated, but everything was fine, and I found it very comfortable. ||The hotel is structured with a large indoor courtyard which I really like versus the standard long hallways. It could get a little noisy in the courtyard area, but you didn't hear much inside the room.||The hotel is dated but is to undergo an entire renovation in the next year or so. I didn't use the restaurant or bar, but they looked good. Our reunion was a great success and a big reason for that was the friendly and professional hotel staff||One thing you might not get out of the hotel information is the fact that it sits very close to a fantastic hiking trail. It's wide with plenty of signage and I enjoyed my walks there immensely. I enjoyed my stay and would certainly return.
This hotel is in desperate need of renovation. The rooms weren’t clean. We even found dirty underwear under the edge of the bed! The sofa was stained so we just avoided sitting on it. Bed linens had stains, as did towels and wash cloths. We’ve stayed here in the past and it was much better. The breakfast omelets were great! They are by far the best thing about the hotel! The area seems shady now as well. Lots of homeless people hanging out behind the hotel asking for money and some of your food when parking. Pool seems old and unclean also. I couldn’t let my kids get in the pool. I will definitely choose another hotel next time.
I love the design of Embassy Suites in general and this one was not a let down. Happy hour and breakfast included! Pool and arcade! Beautiful lobby with a multitude of sitting areas!
The hotel is beginning renovations which appear to be needed due to leaking skylights into lobby. A note in the room said they would be sealing access to balconies. I hope that is only temporary. I thought all Hilton run properties had transitioned to multiple use bottles but we were still provided the travel size. Despite three guests on reservation, we were only provided two. And at check in, a welcome gift bag was said to be in the room already but upon entry, it was not so it was obtained by returning to the front desk.
Also, as a note, happy hour and breakfast omelette bar, despite being free, still appreciate tips
Amazing and friendly staff that helped me out. The location is really nice next and next to the i-25 freeway. Easy to get to get to other places. The only complaint that I had with the room was that the AC did not get that cold. However, the room was clean, spacious, and very nice. It had a desk, couch, and kitchen area, no stove but full-size sink.
We had a comfortable stay. Parking was a bit hard to find arriving after 8:00 p.m. . Breakfast was fantastic The rooms were comfortable but seemed to need refurbishing. As expected the pull out sofa bed was horribly uncomfortable.
The hotel was beautiful, the breakfast is the best we’ve ever had at a hotel, everything was so nice. Until….. we walked into room 219 and it smelled cigarette smoke. We had a reunion dinner there. I got 3 Impossible patties stacked on each other for the vegetarian meal. They had been microwaved and the patties were gray. There was red sauce on one side and gray sauce on the other. Chef, eggplant Parmesan is vegetarian, so is cheese/mushroom ravioli. If there isn’t time to cook those things, go to King Soopers and buy something out of the frozen food case because that dinner (which cost $60) ruined my entire experience.
It's my favorite hotel in the springs. We come often
The staff is awesome and very helpful. You might initially think it's too pricy, but when you factor in a happy hour with 2 free drinks per person and IMO, the best hotel breakfast in town, best variety plus made to order implied, you can't beat the price. Beds are comfortable. Location is close to the highway, but you don't see the highway. Beautiful mountain views.
