Embassy Suites by Hilton Cleveland Rockside - Hotel in Independence - 5800 Rockside Woods Blvd N, USA

What a great property! I haven’t been here in ages, but I chose it because of the breakfast buffet. They’ve had a nice remodel since I was there last and everything was flawless! I checked in through the Hilton app and used digital key, so I had very little interaction with the front desk staff, but they were friendly as we passed by. The breakfast staff was top notch and I remembered the omelette chef from years ago! He’s certainly a standout employee and it was good to see him still there! Our room was clean and spacious and we had zero issues. We were there on a Wednesday night and there was some sort of conference or something and they appeared busy, but it was peaceful and quiet. Recommend 10/10!

This is actually a very nice hotel.|I have no complaints. On the day we arrived there was a massive outage and there computers were all down. The safe was so professional and handled check in quickly and efficiently. I was very impressed considering how stressful that much have been. Our room was clean and the AC was perfect! They brought us sheets for the pull out couch without us having to ask for them. Which was much appreciated. The evening reception was an unexpected surprised! 2 free drink for adult guests and snacks was so nice! Breakfast was simple, but nice. This hotel is a great value. We were really impressed with everything! It was also very quiet at night. We will definitely stay again! Thank you!

My hats off to the Embassy Suites staff for a fabulous family weekend. Tyeisha is one of the best receptionists I’ve ever seen in action. Despite the two major sporting events and multiple functions already happening at the hotel she controlled the chaos and got us checked-in with no issues. It’s pretty impressive to see a person multi-task and treat every guest like there are the only one in line. My family loved the made to order omelets and we had a blast in the pool. The suite was big enough so everyone had their own space without stepping on each other. My only negative is that the actual breakfast staging area is too small for the amount of guest throughput it receives. I recommend during the next scheduled renovation, expand the breakfast area. Otherwise; our time was great.

I've had 2 separate 3 night stays here for work over the last few weeks. It's a nice hotel, with amazing staff. My first stay the hotel was completely booked with a couple of conferences going on, but every staff member I encountered was super nice. My second stay, the Savannah Bananas were there and that was cool. Oh, there was a tornado warning.... the staff handled it professionally and kept everyone calm. Now for the rooms.... the first one could have been cleaned better. There was food left in the fridge, hair in the shower and a crusty washcloth on top of the shower curtain. The second room was clean but the refrigerator did not have a bar across the door, the freezer compartment was completely iced up and the rack was broken. I went to the front desk and asked if I could get a different one. They sent Danny, the chief engineer. He brought a brand new (still taped up) one and was just genuinely super nice. The rooms are definitely out dated and in need of work. The carpet is stained and fraying. But the beds are comfortable. Happy hour is nice although I have social anxiety and had to find a friend to take with me. Carol the bartender was super sweet. All in all, good hotel. I'll definitely be back. (Already have another night booked)

The hotel is so-so for an Embassy Suites with average rooms and a dated design. Following a mix up on the booking, the staff offered zero help or flexibility and was unable to accommodate check in even slightly early when I arrived. I understand there are policies, but there was no attempt to find a solution by the hotel staff. Also, one of the elevators was broken, leaving only 2 working which led to long wait times to get to my room. The breakfast was solid, so no complaints there. Overall a disappointing stay. There are better options nearby.

I stayed here for a business conference July 22-25. First and foremost, the staff is wonderful. I want to give credit to the kitchen/restaurant/event staff who were responsible for serving us and cleaning up after us. It was a 400-person conference, with breakfast and lunch included. Throughout the event, all staff were kind and respectful and happy to have us. We stayed at this hotel the summer before, and got to see our wonderful Ivory, a lovely woman on the staff who is always so happy to serve us and truly has a heart of gold. The hotel staff truly works very hard to make sure the guests are happy. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and had everything we needed. We did not have a car, but restaurants were an easy 10-15 minute walk. Seemed like a safe area too. I would absolutely stay here every time I come back to Ohio.

Easy, clean, and they have a lot to offer. Stayed for a weekend and was very pleased with the size of our room. Slight drawback was the AC didn’t work as well as we would’ve liked, but our room was still cool. The pool was packed with families so we didn’t stay there, but definitely a cool addition for anyone with kids. The front desk staff were all great and super helpful. The only real problem I had was the bartender wasn’t the nicest person when I ordered one drink. I’m assuming maybe she was tired or something? Regardless, I would stay here again.

This place is a dump that needs a major refresh. Rooms are old and nasty with frayed carpet, stained gross furniture, loud and dirty air conditioners that don’t work well and shut off constantly. Guy changed the filter and it was literally black from mold and mildew so the rooms will likely make you sick as well if you have allergies or respiratory issues. Staff were all nice but this property is simply a dump compared to every Hilton property I’ve stayed at this year.
