Embassy Suites by Hilton Asheville Downtown - Featured Reviews (113)
We had a phenomenal stay at the Embassy Suites in downtown Asheville. The mountain views from the floor to ceiling windows in our suite were exceptional. We enjoyed the pool and gym, and very much appreciated that towels were constantly restocked in those areas. My kids were very happy that the pool was warm and there were small fountains by the steps to play in.
The staff here is extraordinary. The gentlemen working valet were literally running to ensure that patrons did not have to wait long for their vehicle. The front desk staff was kind and courteous, even answering questions for us via text all throughout the evening. We constantly saw the cleaning staff maintaining the hotel. Wait staff and bartenders were all a delight and very friendly. Zane who assisted us with our luggage and Brian who was bartending that evening are two members of your staff we wanted to recognize for being so helpful and personable.
We visit Asheville often because we enjoy hiking in the area, and we typically stay at the Hampton Inn. After this visit, we will be booking Embassy Suites downtown every time. The staff really treats their Hilton Honors members well. Thank you for a wonderful trip! 🙂
We had an amazing stay at this Embassy Suites! The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the service was top-notch. The breakfast was a highlight, especially the omelette chef, who was the best we've ever encountered at any Embassy Suites. Friendly and fantastic! All the staff were welcoming and very helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We were in town for a soccer tournament, and the location was perfect. We will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
Absolute bliss! Vacation mode begins when you pull up to Valet. Upon entrance into the hotel, we were eagerly greeted by Ms. Kacey at the front desk. Ms. Kacey was absolutely amazing, the very epitome of customer satisfaction! Our stay was amazing! The breakfast area was by far the best I have ever experienced at any Hilton Brand Establishment to date. One of the Cooks from Ohio went above & beyond to make us feel welcomed and adapt to our food requirements... he's a keeper! (Best omelet at Embassy Suites EVERRRR!!! |Dinner at Sopranos is an absolute must! The views are world renowned. We can wait to visit again
The location is nice, the hotel is nice. I would say it is an average Embassy Suites. We appreciated the indoor pool. The breakfast was fantastic. I dislike being forced to have valet but I get it. What was really frustrating was the evening reception. There were too many people for the staff to handle. After waiting in line for 30 minutes of the 90 minutes of allotted time and realizing we would probably be waiting another 30 (the line was backed up outside the dining area) we opted to leave to pay for cocktails elsewhere. Next time we will stay elsewhere.
My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful stay recently. The hotel is new, spotless and lovely, the staff were all friendly and accommodating, and the views of Asheville and the surrounding Blue Ridge were stunning. Breakfast (a combination of made to order and buffet offerings) was also excellent. Two standout members of the staff were Brittany (front desk) who is an engaging and welcoming presence in the lobby, and Sean Moline, who manages the rooftop restaurant, Soprana. He, along with our excellent server Erin, helped make our dining experience awesome. The food was excellent, too! My only complaint, and it's a very small one, is that the hotel entrance isn't the easiest to find. However, once around the block got us there in the end, and I highly recommend this hotel for your next visit to Asheville!
This a very nice hotel as far as the appearance of the hotel. We were looking forward to staying at this property. We met a really helpful valet team upon our arrival.
This low rating is to the lady working at the front desk and representing this property. I truly believe she doesn’t belong as a front desk team member sorry I didn’t get her name.We needed a room change for the sole reason I needed a walk in shower instead of a tub shower. The housekeeping manager was extremely helpful trying make sure we found a room. My husband was told on the phone that we should have informed them in advance about a shower instead of a tub. I am not entirely sure how we would have know that this property had tub shower not walk in shower. They called us letting us know they found another room. We were very thankful. What happened next was we ended up checking out of this property which we were scheduled to be there for two nights. We were told to come to the desk to get the new room key. I left the room to go down to get the key only to be told that she was not going to give me the key or room number until husband and all of the luggage was brought down stairs out of the room. Went back upstairs got my husband with all our luggage went back down stairs only to be asked are you out of the room my husband was standing right behind me with all our luggage. I let her know this was a inconvenience. I was very unhappy with this room change process. Due to being unhappy with this situation I told her if I could get my points back I would just leave. She cancelled my reservation and gave me my points back. She really had no care in the world if we left or stayed. We didn’t expect this type of treatment from a upscale property such as the Embassy Suites. If you looking for an upscale property with great customer service please look into staying at The Foundry Hotel which is a Hilton property.
We were so impressed and absolutely loved our stay here. This was our first time at an Embassy Suites. I don't know if this is unique to the Asheville location or all Embassy Suites are like this, but given this is a pretty new construction, everything was beautiful and clean. I also appreciated that the hotel seems very disability friendly.
We actually booked this spontaneously on Hotwire where the deal was the hotel would choose the room for us, and I think they gave us a suite? Our room had a living room and everything, it was really nice.
They also had a nightly reception during standard happy hour hours which included 2 free drinks (wine was good) and a nice snack area.
The true standout was the buffet breakfast. Super high quality and exceptional. Everything was delicious, particularly the pork sausages. Oh man those were amazing, I wish I had made it my whole breakfast they were that good.
Just a note that the location itself seemed suspect to us at first, but once you're inside you feel like you're transported to somewhere else entirely.
Great hotel. It's new and modern. Bedroom needs more lighting or adjustable lights. I was on 3rd floor overlooking the air conditioner units and into the garage.
The rooftop restaurant is amazing 👏🏽. A must try!
