Embassy Inn Motel - Lodging in Ithaca - 1083 Dryden Rd, USA

Had a pleasant experience with the place. Rooms were clean and tidy. The motel is located in a bit outskirts (but not too far from all attractions) and in a peaceful area. Breakfast was basic but no complaints.

The new owners have big plans for this motel. They have started renovation and expect to be done by the end of July. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was one of the best we’ve had this trip. It had 2 bed (very comfy) a kitchenette, table and chairs, and a large bathroom. We were very happy with our stay. It was clean and odor free. Very quiet location.

Honestly this was the grossest place I’ve ever laid in, and I say laid because I never slept. The pictures are a lie. It was disgusting!!!. Clearly the place floods. The baseboards are rotten, the carpet harbors mold, the walls and ceilings are coated in a layer of nicotine, there’s roaches in the bathroom, there were also little flea looking things on the bathroom floor, the heaters around the base of the room are rusted and covered in old dust. The mattress is from 1979, we had no weather stripping on our exterior door, light shined through all night. It was gross, I payed over 200$ Canadian.. I’m going to get tested for AIDS, that’s how gross this place is….

This Inn is located in a quiet neighborhood, only 15 minutes outside of downtown. The Inn is clean and the free breakfast is great add on. The price is affordable and the neighborhood is quiet and safe!

Positive: The staff were very courteous and professional. The room was immaculate. Negative: The hotel was an old design. The room I was in had a very small bathroom and shower. It was immaculately kept, but it was a tight fit for me. This is not a bad thing, but someone of a larger stature might want to know this. Negative: ""

Nice woman at front counter. A very basic motel with dated but very clean rooms. Rooms smelled clean as well as the bedding. Very basic amenities, but soap and shampoo provided. Our ground floor room had an electric stove that actually worked, as well as a mini fridge. Cable as well as internet provided. There were two double beds in the room which were ok but nothing special. The pillows were somewhat flat but ok. Air conditioning and heating were functional. I would recommend this place for those on a budget wanting to stay close to Cornell campus. Ok value for money.

Neat and clean room. There are small cosmetic fixes that would complement the feel of the room. Very basic ,dated, almost retro😊 furniture. A topper would be nice because I feel each coil, but the sheets are nice and freshly made with a soft blanket. Most importantly , it feels safe and quiet here. The parking area and grounds are neat as a pin. 📍 The family owned business has a friendly ,refreshing efficiency that tops any minor flaws in decor; they seem very personable. For the price ,in these times...heck yes.
