Emagine White Bear - Movie theater in White Bear Lake - 1180 County Rd J, USA

We've enjoyed going to this theater for over a year now. The heated reclining seats are great and purchasing them in the app ahead of time is easy. It's nice to have a close theater that shows plenty of niche and event titles. Downsides: sound definitely carries between theaters, some rather badly. Nothing like watching a quiet emotional scene and hearing the latest Marvel battle next door. Snacks and food are pricey for what they are (8$ for a monster??) Additional feedback: Our latest trip we were told we had to print our tickets by a power tripping security guard. We asked if this was a new policy and were laughed at - "nope, been this way for a while". Well, our previous movie going experience says otherwise. We watched this same thing happen with someone else but they were then let in without printing. Either inconsistent or discriminatory. The theater has definitely been lax in the past on checking tickets and I have no problem with verifying, but every other theater will just scan your QR code. What's the point of having it if you will just make them be printed anyway? This sentiment was echoed by others as we waited at concessions. Which, by the way, have previously just scanned your QR code to know what seats to bring your food to when it's ready - so it's not even a technology thing! I hope the theater takes another look at whatever weird policy(?) changes are happening.

You know what? I grew up with this theater and I haven't visited back for quite some time. So imagine (I guess that qualifies as a pun) my surprise when I returned to find out the quality of this current theater. The stadium seating is really nice and it gives you an extra ability to walk through the aisles without having someone's head right behind you while watching any film. The concessions are pretty decent. I do like the self-filling pop machines where you can mix anything you like. Plus the heated reclining chairs make leaving the house worth it, otherwise the sound is good and the place was in pretty decent shape. Got to say it's a good theater.

Another great experience with Emagine. These theaters are a great place to grab some food, beverages, and a movie.

I've only been here once so far, but I really enjoyed this theater. The theaters are smaller and have really comfy recliner seats with heaters on them. I appreciated that concessions had some smaller options for popcorn for a more reasonable price. I felt like this theater was a little less expensive than other places nearby and was a good deal for how nice it was.

Staff is awesome and theater is one of our favorites. Great food, large layout & pleanty of screens. The soda machines, however are almost always out of most flavoring.

I seen the new aquaman movie today just right before Christmas. With some of my family had a fun time. The actors did a great job. I love the graphics. It was worth the money. Can wait to see the next one two thumbs up.

I have really enjoyed this theater in the past- and still do. But why would you all remove a movie about Jesus' birth the week of Christmas?? You had it playing 4 days ago!! Me and my family were going to go Friday 12/22 and it isn't playing- which seems ridiculous to take it down right before Christmas. Very disappointing.

Watched a movie here for the first time tonight and really enjoyed it. The theaters are smaller, but have really comfy heated recliner seats. Concessions and tickets were fairly reasonably priced compared to other theaters.
